Nice, I agree. Its only really the NH teams who throw out the accusations of NZ plundering the islands of talent, when as Spiro points out the real situation is that NZ helps out the Islands immensely – and that is brilliant. Exactly, I thought siti may have made it – big game player witg tons of experience, but the others I felt exactly the same. The next WC will be thier chance. Except maybe Ranger, great to watch but I dont think he will ever cement a spot.

AB’s do have more depth, but that means that every player he picks should do the job once on the field. His most debateable choice is leaving out gear, but he goes missing in most test matches he has played, I thought guilford in Brisbane was a good choice because of his workrate, henry wasnt to know he would play his worst game in a black jersey.
In regard to the Samoa game, Aus lost that because they were outmuscled by a better team on the day, a good coach would of seen that happening and put a better team on the field.

I honestly dont know why he acts like that on the field, it may be a bit of what your suggesting but I think its probably more to do with him just not being a smart enough guy in general. If he keeps pulling this crap his whole career he will be passionately hated everywhere else in the world and probably not much better off in aus. Very very unprofessional. I guess he associates with nasser and mundine, so that probably proves my point. (you hear that SBW!)
Also, I dont see any evidence of cooper “getting to” McCaw.. Even the “kick”, anyone would have done that with him trying to stand over you…

Rugby is a far more complex game than league, and in union you dont NEED tries to make it entertaing. In league you NEED tries to make an entertaining game, because the structure is so repetative it becomes boring if there isnt tries. Thats why every league fan thinks the Aust Ireland game must have been boring. I prefer a tight game with tries scored, but there is no way that the game was boring. Read any newspaper outside of Australia and they all pretty much agree that the game was one of the best so far. The reason its not reported like that in Australia? Simple. You lost!
Also, the reason the game didnt rate highly in Australia? Because it was delayed and everyone who was going to watch it didnt bother because they already knew Australia lost!
