Its the same when the wannabees infringe, Kearns and martin go ballistic about cheating everytime McCaw is near a ruck (and often when he’s not), but dont mention a thing when the wannabees “cheat”. Im 99 percent sure thats why most aussie fans think McCaws a cheat, they dont know a thing about rules around the ruck, but think because Kearns complains (at every ruck) it must be cheating!

Ive never been able to get a backpacker room for anywhere even close to 20 a night, but i get your point. The thing is only a select few are price gouging (the ones still available!), an it seems like you think NZ is the only country in which it has happened. I am surprised there is any rooms in Auckland over the finals weekends, but thats the thing about booking late – you may miss out.

Do you mean the complexities of playing union? I agree he is better suited to league, what we are seeing is that it takes more than being a one trick pony to make it in union, but it will still make you a force in league
