The A League needs the Northern Terrace and not having them at the Victory home games is a huge let down.
Isn’t it a coincidence that we continually have these Football issues ONLY IN MELBOURNE.

I agree we have been there before.
The difference is the football fans are the there, they need a team to support.
But very importantly they have to start fresh with no association with the Wolves what so ever, other wise it wont work.
The difference is the area has been itching for an A League team since its inception.

The best option for the FFA is to pursue the Football South Coast model for a standalone team based in Wollongong,considering you have one of the richest men in the country (Bruce Gordon) wanting to invest in the game.
This model will also provide a Sydney/Wollongong derby in its self,which is similar to what we had in the NSL days.
There has always been a strong Football rivalry between Sydney and Wollongong.
And for this reason it will have a positive impact on the A League as far as derby’s go.
(Sydney FC/WSW v Wollongong derby would be as explosive as the Sydney derby its self).
