Time for all codes to get serious about antisocial behaviour

Time for all codes to get serious about antisocial behaviour

A good idea would be for the crowds at all A- League games (with the assistance of the active support groups) for the first 3 rounds to clap above their heads with a team chant in unison for 30 seconds at the 30min and 60min mark.

This way the authorities can evict the while stadium.

That should fix the problem.

Time for all codes to get serious about antisocial behaviour

I think the authorities and the AFL has bigger issues to deal with.

Just found the below article in an online media outlet.

It headline reads like this.”AFL finals 2015: Crowd violence mars Hawks’ win over Dockers”

But should read like this”Fremantle fan started abusing fellow supporters and then punched a woman in the face”

Wanderers reject police proposals

How pathetic.

The authorities want Football to resemble the atmosphere of the NRL and AFL. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

The atmosphere at the NRL and AFL is a snooze fest,there is more atmosphere at a funeral.

No one condones stupidity or inappropriate behavior’ but this beyond a joke.

Wanderers reject police proposals

Facts about Football and Melbourne.

1)Melb media will find any angle to bag football no matter how successful any event is.

2)Melb media promotes football with silent treatment.

3)MCG is no good for Football on TV or live.

4)MCG surface is crap for football and not AFL,some how Adelaide Oval didn’t have that problem.

This list can go on forever.

And let me just point out that if this ICC tournament was held in Sydney the media would be saturated with it.
The Sydney media would have a field day/week/weeks with Cristiano Ronaldo,they would follow and report every move
he makes.They would create a circus around him and have him involved in as many promotions Football related or other as possible
Then you have Totti,Bale,etc..

Its sad that the Melb Media(AFL bias) doesn’t give these global Footballing super stars and clubs the media coverage the Football and none football public deserves.

The day the Melb media stop with their AFL bais the bette,they are just a turn off for everyone.They are just too dumb to realize.

Lessons we can learn from the International Champions Cup

@Mister Football

It’s FOOTBALL. And stop all your pathetic and ranting and raving.

Stop trying to convince us all about you’re a diehard Football fanatic.

Maybe I should change my avatar with a Rugby League pic of some sort and carry on like you do on the AFL threads. I might just
convince everyone on that thread I ‘am a diehard AFL fanatic.LOL

You’re just insecure like the rest of your egg ball mates.

Underrated A-league still not getting the plaudits it deserves

While the Euro snobs wait for their favorite euro team to visit our shores and get up at all hours of the the night to watch a game,
I like many Football lovers in Australia watch and attend A League games live and then if i choose to, I supplement my Footballing appetite by watching the EPL,UEFA Champions League,etc as desired.

I have spoken to many people who have traveled and attended live EPL fixtures and then attended their first an A League game and were surprised and blown away by how good the A League quality and match day atmosphere was,that they have become members of local clubs and love it and cant believe what they have missing out on all this time.

These Euro snobs need to learn and appreciate and respect the A League for what it is,as the quality is better than they think and also the A League dishes out a more entertaining games than the Euro counter parts.

Underrated A-league still not getting the plaudits it deserves

Kaks in a perfect world your view is correct,but in the real world it doesn’t work that way unfortunately.
As you know when in conversation with others about your favored sport (without making obvious that it is) you get a bogans like negative,awkward look,sneer,blank face,no comment ,change of subject,turn their back on you,give you a stupid look or a smart a** comment etc.The list goes on.
Since their is no respect for your favored sport why would one respect some else s.And until that changes unfortunately that’s way things will stay.

The great Australian sporting landscape is no place for a snob

@Baz

Nark.

Who does your NRL team compare with in the EPL?

@Bondy

What the………?????????

What are you on about, you have lost me.

And since when have I had an interest in AFL.

Who does your NRL team compare with in the EPL?

@gago@gmail.com

LOL.

You have made my day.

Cant stop laughing.

Tanks.

Who does your NRL team compare with in the EPL?

@Baz

You must be looking for the NRL tab, its at the top of the page.

That’s were you can find a better read about the bogans who disrespected a minute’s silence to honour the late Ron Clarke at the MCG last night.

Who does your NRL team compare with in the EPL?

@Bryan

Couldn’t have said it better myself;

Thumbs up.

Who does your NRL team compare with in the EPL?

Who cares about the NRL!

Who does your NRL team compare with in the EPL?

Great article.

Couldn’t agree more that safe standing could be implemented in all the stadiums used by all the A league clubs is a positive move for football in Australia and the stadiums themselves.

This concept would have to be the cheapest and easiest solution for expansion for the stadiums where extra capacity is required when needed.

I hope the powers to be in football and the stadium operators read this article and pursue the concept.

Time to take a stand at AAMI Park

You need help.

Football's next decade is all about facilities

@Jarijari You have know idea what you are talking about and make no sense.
“siege mentality”what the….?
You must be lost,the eggball tabs are the top of the page, this is a FOOTBALL one.

Football's next decade is all about facilities

I found a news article that you will enjoy reading

A-League Season 10 ends with a bang... and a fall

We the football family should be grateful for Frank Lowy’s contribution to the game in Australia.

Lowy’s fall could have been fatal on the biggest stage and we have people out there poking fun and finding the fall amusing.

Pathetic.

Frank Lowy falls off the stage during A-League Grand Final

This s might be the perfect platform and reason for the FFA and the Victorian Football fraternity to lobby the Victorian Government for a stadium capacity upgrade at AAMI Park to approx 50,000.
We should forget about ETIHAD stadium and start planing for the future as a rectangular stadium is needed in Victoria.

AAMI Park grand final a boon for football

The day the AFL wakes up to its self to the fact that all sports can co-exist in the Australian sporting landscape the better of they will be.Cause all they are doing is converting their own supporters to Football.
Oh! Did i give something away.

A-League fans snap up grand final tickets, with plenty to miss out

AFL1- FOOTBALL 0.
Some things just never seem to change in AFL town.

A-League fans snap up grand final tickets, with plenty to miss out

LOL.I like your sense of humor Eddie.

Just what level of respect should a referee expect?
