Mainly an AFL player, Ruckman, but long-time and passionate Rugby fan. I played rugby at Narrabeen school, Australian College of Physical Education (Teachers College) and while a volunteer in Nuku'nuku, Tonga. Second row, no 4 in lineout. I like to think that I invented the concept of the banana kick (or Check-side in South Australia where it was invented) when kicking for the sideline (boundary), especially when close to the sideline. The first time that I did it in a game was in 1975.

I think that if White is going to box kick and I agree that he shouldn’t have !

Then he needs to have Marky Mark at the ready and re-train himself to kick higher and closer to the sideline so that : –
A. Marky Mark can utilise his aerial skills to catch or tap back
B. Or We can force them to put the ball out and win a lineout
C. Or don’t box kick !!
