Still think the Boks poisoned the ABs in ‘95……. 😁

WORLD VIEW: ABs pluck 'astonishing win from depth of their souls' while Irish face 'four more years of choking jokes'

Then being turned around 3 times and being pointed in the wrong direction…

Damn I miss watching Cullen run

Harry either tell us how you know this or stop making things up mate.

Eddie digs in as he flies home - AGAIN denying he wants to quit to coach Japan, while revealing next step

Too much unproven nonsense in this debate. How many times does the man have to deny it? Maybe the media should front up with their “source” or drop it.

Advantage should last for maximum two phases.

It's not just the Wallabies - Australasian rugby is withering on the vine as self-interest, arrogance and denial take hold

Well we gotta do something

It's not just the Wallabies - Australasian rugby is withering on the vine as self-interest, arrogance and denial take hold

Amateur Dads stepping in to coach kids is how it is done all over the world. Seems to work everywhere else so I doubt that is the problem!

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

If you do things that force someone to decide to resign that is called “constructive dismissal” and it is deemed to be the same as sacking them. So that won’t work.

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

Good article thanks. I agree with you about Koroibete… jury is still out for me, even though the end of game commentators always rave. A loose cannon can be good in attack but heck it can be costly in defence.

The Wrap: Don’t buy Eddie Jones taking the blame for another Bledisloe loss, buy the hope instead

The AB forwards got bashed up by the WB forwards? You are dreaming my friend. We could not even get one maul try against them. Let’s not be one eyed about this.

'Whoever sacked Rennie, needs sacking': Eddie Jones wants you to 'pray' as his stock sinks faster than NZ economy

I think he means he is a passive defender. Koroibete you would say is an aggressive defender. Doesn’t mean he can’t tackle, just that he lets the attack come to him.

Wallabies player ratings: Halves taught Bledisloe Cup lesson as star prop steps up

Thanks for the good summary. I know it may be unfashionable but I don’t have a lot of time for Koroibete. Yes, he is fast, Yes, he can tackle if he is in the right place and Yes, he is a pretty good scavenger. But, and this for me is a big BUT, he always leaves his wing to come in to tackle an inside player. He missed the tackle letting Ioane score but more tellingly he came in, again, to tackle an inside player and allowed Telea to score outside him. He needs to stay in his lane in defence as many many times he comes in and allows HIS wing to get a run around. Maybe the coaching staff need to tell him he doesn’t need to do it all himself? Just IMHO.

Studs and duds: 'Can't do that in Tests' - Tate flaw exposed, Hooper divides opinion, 'absolutely incredible' Angus

fair point

Coach’s Corner Issue 27: Who is really the number one team in the world?

Yes they are indeed relevant and once they have “finished” then maybe the answer will be clearer. However when I read the headline I sort of expected some commentary around who the best team in the world is???? Perhaps a better headline may have been “Readers supply questions and I answer them!”

Coach’s Corner Issue 27: Who is really the number one team in the world?

Agree billtong. Nienaber comment about the Boks carrying the ball too much while there were gaps behind the defence to kick into really made me wonder about him.

It is my view they do not carry the ball for anywhere near enough phases. They should be using the skills and pace of the centres and wings, who given half a chance would show they are the equal of any other team.

'They just get the dregs': Boks pack hammered by World Cup hero, Super absence blamed for woes

Springboks coach Jacques Nienaber agrees that they made unforced errors against the Wallabies. “We pushed it a bit when their defence was set and a few times when there was kick space behind we got caught out by putting together too many carries,” commented Nienaber this week.

Oh my goodness this is their exact problem but opposite to what the coach thinks. “…caught out by putting together too many carries”??? WTH. The Boks problems is they don’t carry it enough and they kick the ball away when they should be running it and using the pace and skill of their centres and wings.

Can someone please take him aside and whisper in his ear? Or maybe just get rid of him…

'They just get the dregs': Boks pack hammered by World Cup hero, Super absence blamed for woes

A good enough article with some interesting questions and commentary. But nothing at all to do with the Headline.

So Who is the best team in the World? I guess we may know that at the end of the RC.

I believe the All Blacks but they have a weaker lineout than Australia and the Boks so I think the Boks may exploit that tomorrow. The Wallabies had a good counter to the Boks rolling lineout maul and I will be very interested in seeing if the All Blacks have the same capacity to stop it.

Coach’s Corner Issue 27: Who is really the number one team in the world?

Wayne there is no possible way you could tell that from the Rugby played in 2021. Who is to say both Oz and AB will not thrash the Boks in this RC.

I for one am excited to find how it will pan out.

'No belief': Steve Hansen criticises South Africa coach, calls for breakdown rule changes

They were when I was a boy 🙂

Back then a tackle had to be above the ankle and below the shoulder. When did that change?

'No belief': Steve Hansen criticises South Africa coach, calls for breakdown rule changes

yes Peter but lets face it in the NRL they don’t have many penalties because they don’t actually have many rules to penalise….

'No belief': Steve Hansen criticises South Africa coach, calls for breakdown rule changes

that may have been a bit pre-emptive Peter….. Get that Stan subscription back, the next month is going to be glorious!

'No belief': Steve Hansen criticises South Africa coach, calls for breakdown rule changes

the SA-NZ centenniel game would be a 60,000 sellout at Optus in Perth. Huge SA population there.

'No belief': Steve Hansen criticises South Africa coach, calls for breakdown rule changes

this word cynical is used far too much. I hear it all the time from our commentators as well. Any NZ player who infringes is called cynical. Any Wallaby who infringes is called unlucky.

Can we not have a debate here without going to the negative descriptions all the time?
