I’m gutted too…..but England deserved to win. The ABs will come back stronger than ever in a few years. The ABs need to keep developing players like Luke Jacobson and Atu Moli ………they are the future of this ABs forward pack, maybe even Akira Ione can get his act together. I also think the time has come for Scooter Barrett to be a starting lock in every game. He’s been (after Ardie) our best forward all year. I’ll be cheering for the SAFFAs now. Let’s keep it in the Southern Hemisphere.
As a New Zealander, this is why I don't like the World Cup
England have the player most likely to get a red/yellow in Sinkler. With Lawes and Itoje candidates as well. The ABs are not angels but to infer England are is way off the mark.

Maybe it’s just me but I think the red card for Aki was warranted. He went into the tackle too high and paid the price. We are forgetting here that the Samoan player had to be replaced. Had he done that to Beauden Barrett (if you’re a Kiwi supporter) or Kurtley Beale (if an Aussie supporter) Kiwis/Aussies would be calling for blood.

Cheika blaming the ref every time the Wallabies lose isn’t in the spirit of the game. Cheika ranting and raving in the coaches box like a petulant child isn’t in the spirit of the game.

Most definitely a yellow. As I saw it live I straight away wondered why the ref didn’t have another look. He didn’t use his arms……..but even if he did he made contact with the head. If Scott Barrett’s gets a red for what he did Hodge should have definitely got a yellow.

I’d lose my job if I made the comment he did in an open forum. Why shouldn’t he lose his? We all know if this was a fringe Wallaby player the consequences would be greater. What if someone famous expressed the view on Twitter that Folau was inferior to them because he was dark skinned. Would that be freedom of speech? Why is it that freedom of speech is applied differently if you happen to believe in an imaginary giant wizard??

Perhaps the Australian teams will start ‘sandpapering’ the rugby ball…..or rolling it underarm. Cheika has Australia playing ‘thugby’ has done for a few years now. Kepu’s performance in the World Cup final was a disgrace. Dagg was taken out by dangerous tackle and injured. The hypocrisy of Australians never ceases to amaze me. I remember a couple, of years ago Skelton and Latu turned Sam Whitelock upside down and drove him head first into the ground. According to the Fox sports panel there was nothing malicious in it!! Moody made a mistake. But he isn’t a dirty player and has a good track record on discipline. Some posters are massively exaggerating the severity of his actions. He got 2 weeks which is about right.

It’s an exaggeration to say they are full of brilliant individuals. Both backlines have looked very ordinary……..they lack x-factor in the backs. Rieko looked much better than any of the wingers we’ve seen so far and he might not even make the ABs squad. I hope he does though.

Garbage! I watch a lot of games from the northern hemisphere. The pace of the games is much slower than Kiwi derby games. The skill level on display in NZ super rugby teams is far higher than that displayed in NH rugby. Just because there’s a big crowd……and a tight match does not mean the standard is higher. I would back the Hurricanes to give Munster, Saracens etc a good hiding. There is a reason the All Blacks are the best in the world………it not by accident you know. They play high paced, highly skilled rugby week in week out for their super rugby teams.

Lost so much respect for the Irish press over the rubbish that has been printed. Stander got a red card against South Africa only a few tests ago in a disgraceful incident that he tried hard to pretend was unintentional Heaslip often sees the red mist…….and was sent off a few years ago against the All Blacks for repeatedly kicking an All Black at the bottom of a ruck.

‘Once the heat is on the All Blacks crumble’…….possibly the most ridiculous comment ever posted on this site. The All Blacks have by far the best record of any international team. I’m sure in the last 100 years or so plenty of teams have ‘put heat‘ on them. In fact you’d probably say their ability to still win when the opposition IS putting heat on them would be a more accurate statement.
