Not unexpected but hard to cop given the previous weeks suspensions…
Fraser is a big loss

'Not ideal': Reds star duo cop Super Rugby bans after red cards - but where's the consistency?

Given they were all the very successful u20 Side the guys were always going to come through. It wasn’t specifically Brad- it was a talented group that just missed the u20 World Cup..

Poor retention/ recruitment was the issue previously (with poor results/ coaching)

Discovering the blueprint for Super Rugby success: How Kiss managed to get away from a one-dimensional style

It’s a season we needed- the fans hopefully now will come back.

4 games and playing very solidly.

I think Brad would be a much better assistant coach .
He is now an assist coach for gps 1st xv rugby team (bbc)

Discovering the blueprint for Super Rugby success: How Kiss managed to get away from a one-dimensional style

Great article on many fronts-

Providing the background of the assist coaches as they are often the forgotten ppl in the team setup
Great to see Les Kiss acknowledge them for their efforts and talents (on many occasions)
Proves that we should be investing more in coaches than marquee players. The differences between the reds last year and this year with minor playing roster changes has been dramatic. Playing with purpose, intent and importantly know the game plan and have stopped the silly penalties that have been consistent for many years.

BT got thrown in to the role when he wasn’t ready and did as good as he was able- more time in places would definitely make him more rounded..he also stayed too long for this suffering Reds fan.

The tackle height will be difficult to
Manage this year- however the best thing for the game- a real differential from other contact sports.

The Wrap: Concussion is a key area where Australian rugby can become a leader, not a follower

In harry we trust.

Exciting & positive front foot rugby player

'All up for grabs': Bulked up Lynagh gunning for Reds 10 jersey in four-way shootout

i think everyone knew BT was limited in development from 2022 on…

Looking forward to the new team with HMP at 5/8 – one of the best qld reds talents esp at 5/8 since Isaac Lucas ….

I think all teams are stronger and have more depth than previous years,

As it was said – we are currently undefeated and may that continue!
Merry Xmas.

Pressure Points: The Kiss of life? Les has habits to shake at the Reds

not completely different either….

'What a disgrace. I feel sorry for Japan': Sonny Bill's blistering smackdown of 'full of crap' Eddie Jones

Some fair comments there – I was expecting more from Jones but it didn’t happen. I don’t care anymore about him.

SBW talking about lying to the players, lied to the public, he lied to the Australian rugby union. What a disgrace….
Wasn’t this the guy that broke contract with the bulldogs and fled the country to get a better deal elsewhere (France)?

Couldn’t be any worse…
Looking forward to HMP at 5/8- shows real Intent to attack

ANALYSIS: Every Super Rugby team rated - and why Australia will make up ground on New Zealand

100% agree comments regarding the SR coaching. Absolutely Critical, it has been a weakness for some time.

'Just as important': Cheika pours cold water on NRL role, advice to RA ahead of Wallabies coaching search

A World Cup is completely different. We all know Eddie works differently but trying to get rugby smarts 6months is hard…
I think that sits withRA.

I’m not at all happy with Eddie’s selections for the World Cup but I think he also was bitten by lack of buildup from injuries players – and it showed.

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

The rugby calendar definitely needs to be worked so there is not break mid year.
Hard given NH don’t like change..

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

So only a few years ago England won their 17th straight game.. tell
Me how the game has changed that much – rugby is in its heart a simple game – rucks/ mauls/ lineouts.

How has the SA and kiwi game changed

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

I think this is good news overall.

He does have rugby smarts and will help the much needed restructure the top end of town. He is a passionate and proud Australian.

He also knows he wouldn’t be allowed back in Australia if he walked out..

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

So no club rugby played by juniors?

There is in Brisbane – note most state high schools don’t do organised sport outside of PE?

'Caesar is not going to be unkind to Caesar': Ex-ARU coaching director's report for RA - and what's needed to fix game

100% agree.

I would start with the junior grades having a schedule at the start of the season after any grading of teams… finding out where we are to play and what time on Thursday PM is a joke.. and poor organising.. (BRJU)…

Be better

'Right people in right roles': QRU break silence on RA's reform hopes, back review into Wallabies' RWC flop

Still can’t see it- can you advise when is it out of play?

Rugby union vs rugby league: A footy dad's 'little experiment'

I caoch and watch my sons team play in north Brisbane- the fees are right but cannot agree with the ball in play figures.. z30%.. sounds like some very poor refereeing in game management and letting the ball play.

80% like league seems more likely

Rugby union vs rugby league: A footy dad's 'little experiment'

Hopefully this development shows on the pitch- difficult role and no
Hiding space. I think injuries have pushed his development- let’s see.

'Massive step up': After being 'battered' in Pretoria's baptism of fire, 'Baby Thor' knows he must grow up fast

Helps if teams don’t infringe and play to the rules

'It stings, it hurts ... we got exposed': All Blacks alarm bells ringing after Springboks dish out worst EVER defeat

Refe England vs nz last World Cup.

'It stings, it hurts ... we got exposed': All Blacks alarm bells ringing after Springboks dish out worst EVER defeat

The ref had a great game- the reply’s showed the infringements – first time for a long time this was ref’d properly- hitting lint out early, collapsing mauls and lying in rucks are common for all nz teams. Hopefully this encourages clean and quick ball for the World Cup. Nz didn’t listen at any point to ref.

'It stings, it hurts ... we got exposed': All Blacks alarm bells ringing after Springboks dish out worst EVER defeat

100%-
Should have been 20 up in the first 20-30
