No – It doesnt make it ok at all. People here are agreeing with you but you are so hyped up you cant see it.
Let me spell it out for you. Most peoples point here is it happens a lot. It should always be penalized no matter what. Sadly 99% of the time it goes un-penalized at pro and club levels.

Homophobic slurs happen mulitple time in just about every man v man sport I know.

All I’m saying is that its said a lot on the fields. This case only came to light because it was picked up on the mic. If the NRL, ARU. AFL etc were serious about it they’d give the ref the ability to penalize when ever he hears it.

Thats said several times a game from u/13’s to test level in every male physical male sport across the world.
I’m not condoning it at all but we all know that nothing is done about it…unless its heard through the mics.

In my opinion some of the statements made here are madness clouded by odd levels of hatred and negativity. But thats just my opinion. See the cycle here.
A keyboard hero to me is someone who types things they would never have the courage to say to the other persons face….lots of that round here. But again, thats just my opinion.

Acts like a psycho? I think you’re over dramatizing it.
I am not a Tahs fan but simply get annoyed with all the blind hatred of them.
In the past the Tahs were ‘spineless and passive’….now they have a coach and a team who seem to have aggression and people bag them for it.
Also in recent years people have bagged them for being boring. Now they are playing super expansive rugby, have had their best back three combo out for a while and its hurting them. But people get on their case again.
Look at last week. Forwards played well. It was execution out wide that killed them….mostly timing and running lines being out with the odd combos.
Or was it Cheikas fire that made the back synchronization to be out?
Lastly If I got a card like the one Dennis received and my coach was enraged by it, I would be inspired by him.

I totally disagree.
Maybe because of the advent of the half time and pregame interviews barriers have been broken down. Maybe people have quickly forgotten what a fairly new phenomenon this access is…..
But when did it become ok for a camera-person to, without permission try to capture a convo between a player and coach..?

Lastly, suggest the Tahs would do the opposite

This is perhaps one of the greatest over dramatizations in rugby history…and the usual Roar bandwagon riders jumping on-board too.
My lord….a player get a ridiculous yellow card, his fired up coach heads over to talk to him, a smart ass cameraman gets in his way (twice) and gets told to get nicked. Thats it? thats the story?
Its always amazed me that there has never been a incident with a cameraman and a sin-binned player. They really do seem to annoy the players.
Then the keyboard heros start blaming Cheikas fire for the dip in Tahs form. Honestly.

Jez, I actually prefer the 4Gs to grass. We have one in SG out at Turf City now same at HKFCs.
