Recap of the First Half
Sydney FC was much better in all the first half , having great ball movement and pressuring the opponent very high forcing them for false passes. They manage to open score with Alex Brosque after a fantastic pass by Ninkovic. After that goal, they keep pressing creating only one chance with Holosko. At the other hand, the last few minutes of the game the Jets became more dangerous mostly throw free kicks. However the chance came in the 45′ when Ugarkovic was alone in the penalty spot with his shot go out. That was a big chance for the Jets to equalize the game before the end of the first half.
