The Serbian national team that participated in the 2006 World Cup is an example of how a team should not react to the obstacles…
From the first moment Marko Pantelic attempted to control the ball against Ghana, he was the outstanding candidate for 'player-who-went-missing-when-his-country-needed-him-man-of-the-match'. It is difficult to…
@Dean It is all about balance and it is up to the clubs to find a way to strike a balance. It will be difficult but in the end can only offer many rewards.
@Bojan precisely success in Europe is part of the European mentality – I mean the club I support Crvena Zvezda won the 1991 European Cup Final and it is still referred to as a moment of pride in these times of hardship for the club’s supporters (especially with the club’s recent struggles we can still hold over the 91 European Cup victory over our rivals Partizan Belgrade). Hey Tony,
Hopefully there are a few goals tonight…for both sides.

I could not agree more, it is what makes our game different – unique!
I mean whenever I see other sports in Australia I always have that feeling that this is (generally) their highest honour. But in football we have the tradition of continental competitions, which gives it that added meaning and also a sense of interacting with the world.
