Good on you andrew, as it must have been very painful especially watching the Chooks put that score on the Dragons 😂 and yes, the Bunnies will make the bottom 4 and that is where they deserve to be. This is just unbelievable what has happened to Souths in the last year, as the only signs were with Sam Burgess which must have been the beginning of the end at the coaching level which was a sign of how much this side was broken and that Sam wasn’t going to be a part of a side like Souths are today. Unless there are some serious changes at Souths with the coaching staff and player roster, Souths will be just making up the numbers in the next 5 years and will a bottom 8 side and we will never see them in the top 8.

Storm slaughter second-rate Souths as 'a myriad of errors' hammer the final nail into Demetriou's coaching coffin

Gray is no good at FB as he’s shown last night, he should be put at #7 as that Dawkins is doing nothing at #7 as Ilias is the best we’ve got, give Gray a go at #7 and see what he produces and if he’s got a kicking game? The Bunnies that they should field for now and when Trell gets back from his usual yearly siesta is this:
1. Jack Wighton
2. Jacob Gagai
3. Isaiah Tass
4. Latrell Mitchell
5. Izaac Thompson
6. Cody Walker
7. Jye Gray
8. Shaquai Mitchell
9. Damien Cook
10. Thomas Burgess
11. Keaon Koloamatangi
12. Jai Arrow
13. Cameron Murray

To tell you the truth I turned the game off after 20min as I knew that it would be a cricket score and just couldn’t watch the rabble that Souths have turned into. There are no reason(s) to criticise this side as Souths have been depleted and just badly managed for at least the last 5 years when allot of good players have been let go and they have ended up with other clubs. Just a few of the players that are playing at other clubs today that we have let go, Reynolds, Crichton, Keary, Su’a, Sele, Brown which all are huge assets to their clubs and have been for years and could have been more than useful at Souths today. Souths are in a transitional stage and as I’ve always said that things are going to get much worse before they get better!

Let’s Souths some slack and until R18 when Graham, Johnson, IIias, Mitchell (wakes up to himself as he’s not injured) and Tatola and Munro will all slowly dribble back and Souths have a full side, as the loss of the workmanlike Graham is a significant blow as Graham is Souths key to their attack and defence out wide and a huge part of Walkers attack just like AJ is also. Souths are going to go better when all these players come back and they will have a full side, its as simple as that, as this period and until then, is a good period of time to trial a side that can fulfil this gap. Lets be patient and see what happens as once JD the Greek is put onto his donkey back to Athens (I’m only quoting GB on that one 😂 ) and all the CEO and board are SACKED and new coaches are recruited, Souths will bounce back. Keep your chins up Bunnies fans as its not as bad as it looks, YES 2024 is gone and dusted but 2025 is another year. Go You Bunnies.

Yes Cam, that should be very interesting to see how 5′ 58″ Jay Gray goes under the continual bombs as he’s at much more of a disadvantage than Chevy Stewart had to endure who everyone was making a big deal out of, as far as Jacob Gagai is concerned, he is big enough at 6′ and looks like an established sort of a winger that can hold his own and might just be slightly disadvantaged by the height 6’3 with of Will Warbrick and Xavier Coates at 6’4 who are both good under the high ball and will be fed by Huges continually, so all this should be interesting to see and could be annulled if Souths have a real go.

But lets see how much these blokes are willing to put into this game as a team (which they haven’t been doing) as the Storm have been beaten by lesser talented sides in the past. Should be an interesting game and could be a make or break for allot of players including the coach overall, as and if the Bunnies don’t recover in 2024 with LM and CW and all their so called Clayton Stars then JD is gone and allot of this roster will also be gone imo as something has to drastically change at Souths as their use by date ended in R11 13 May 2023, as they haven’t been competitive in the NRL since then! Go You Bunnies 👍

NRL Round 8 Team Lists Late Mail: Injury causes Dragons reshuffle, Cleary back, Broncos' mixed news, Eels blood new half

RIP Terry Hill as its way too young an age to lose your life to a heart attack, enjoyed his Footy Show stints as I’m sure he gave millions of viewers allot of laughs, will be greatly missed in the RL community, rest in peace Terry!

RIP Terry Hill: Former Manly great, Origin star and cult hero dies in Philippines

Let’s see what the Bunnies produce Thursday night after a bye and with the same side that got 34 points put on them by the Sharks who were going half pace and could have scored anything if they wanted, what is it going to be 44 or 54 against the Bunnies?

NRL Round 8 Team Lists Late Mail: Injury causes Dragons reshuffle, Cleary back, Broncos' mixed news, Eels blood new half

😂 what an fclown you must be, making things up in a comment like this! I don’t have to justify anything to you, but my record stands as it is at a footy level of whatever it was (but of course not at the level of yours?) I’m happy with what I’ve achieved! Hey Nat, don’t come on here and make yourself out as a big shot, as we all know the keyboard warriors who come on the strongest. they are the bigger flinging BS artists! As and for example your gibberish nonsense shows what an imagination you really have and to what extent your nonsense will go with saying things like this about me “you have nowhere near the intelligence to steal the quotes from informed analysts who us that term in correct context and you’ve knocked it off from some shock-jock, mouth on a stick from Fox news??? “THAT IS NOT TRUE AND ITS ALLOT OF NONSENSE” as it proves who you are Nat and how far your dilutional imagination extends to, as you would say anything! Go away Nat and have a great Sunday night and calm down! 👍

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

Mate, I played RL for 15 years in the old days when a hit was a hit and we copped it sweet, not like Mam who’s a wimpy sooky crybaby getting offended by words, or a dog like Riki having a cowards go at venerable FBs or winers catching bombs and flopping all over them or smashing them when they are defenseless and he’s getting cheered as a big hero, I know what a fair dinkum hit is or being hit is like, as I’ve copped plenty and given plenty and what I see is a bunch of wosses as I’m not talking through my keyboard as I’ve been there and done that. It seems to me that you haven’t!

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

First of all Walsh deserves it as hes a show pony and needs a bit of a wake up 😂 but nah I wouldn’t at all, it just looks bad and its unfair as these blokes are totally defenseless like Chevy Stewart showed last night, as he was being constantly stampeded by big hero’s Mam who’s a wimp and that other big hero Riki which is a recipe for disaster, as someone is going to get really hurt one day and then what? As that is what my gripe is as it looks totally unfair and gives the game a bad look!

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

Yes, fully agree with you Bernie, as that Jordan Riki is a constant exponent of the dog act flop and the other dog act of stampeding of either a FB or a winger that is totally venerable when catching high bomb(s), imo its a very ugly and bad look for the NRL and its becoming more and more common, especially the kicking of bombs which sides rely on scoring tries from.

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

Thats not tautology, that’s the truth and what the pro Broncos crowd always do, as the more that Chevy Stewart was hurt the more the crowd cheered and were jumping up and down, if that is not disgusting to watch I don’t know what is.

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

Hey Stewy76, as a Broncs fan with your painted black nails, and eye shadow are you going to sustaining from answering the question of “what is a woman” as that is next mate as your on a slippery slope 😂

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

Yes, imo that was a huge effort from young Chevy Stewart at FB and the kid will be much better off for that experience especially in front of that totally biased Suncorp crowd! But one thing that really got to me and this happens every game with the Broncos and their bombs on the 5th, as for the life of me and in one instance when Ezra Mam stampeded the venerable Chevy catching the high bomb and Mam already tackled Chevy, that dog Jordan Riki for no reason did an extra flop on top of Mam to hurt the kid even more, this was right in front of ref Chris Butler, where was the penalty? There should be some sort of extra protection for the FB not only when he is up in the air, as what the NRL is creating is a very dangerous situation with these runners coming in at full speed onto a stationary and venerable FB catching the ball and this will cause a serious injury. The first 10min was interesting and a good game until the disallowed try by the Raiders and then the Raiders just got bamboozled for 20 min and the game was over.

Fogarty off with suspected bicep tear as Raiders night goes from bad to worse in Broncos blowout

All I’m dirty about as a Bunnies support is that there are more Warriors fans in the vicinity of the supposed Bunnies home ground “The Accor Stadium” than there are Bunnies fans 😂 as in the last encounter in R5 game, you could see that there were more Warrior jumpers in the crowd than Bunnies jumpers, as NO Bunnies fan will travel 25km (50km round trip) out to that monstrosity. But the Warriors are doing well and good on them, as they got their stuff sorted (better than the Bunnies) as they look like a well drilled and managed side, that is even though they got convincingly beaten by the Dragons yesterday. Warriors’ fans are great fun and my Nee Zeeland, sex again Kiwi mates are great fun sharing some fushhh and chupps with etc etc 😂

When seventh feels like winning: Time to hop on the Warriors' 'bandwagon'... before it's too late

BA is spot on, as Parra are a part time footy team just like allot of other sides and that includes the Bunnies. That was an absolute shocker and I tipped Parra by 12+ 😂 what a joke, as that was the worst capitulation of an NRL side I’ve seen in a long time and the Bunnies are not far behind Parra either. The best way for clubs to get these blokes going is to cut their pay substantially after a performance like that and continually cut their pay until they either shapeup or and if not, you ship them out! In saying all this lets see how the Bunnies shapeup after the bye as I’m not putting much faith on them either against the Storm or the Panthers!

'We gave up': Under pressure Arthur rages at 'part-time footy team' Parra as undermanned Dolphins run riot

Its funny how none of the press or Robbo ever asked and/or mentioned the Tedesco intentional attempted ankle break effort on Papenhuyzen that should have been at least a sin bin or even a sendoff. How unusual is that that Robbo didn’t give us his ruling on why that wasn’t a sin bin or a sendoff. Anyway, the Storm were a much better side for the 80min as all Robbo did and instruct his Chooks to do is for Keary to kick high bombs to the Chooks two giraffes on the wings and create scoring chances and win this game (like GB commented 😂 ) which I though was a perfect analyzation of what the Chooks were doing and did for 80 min last night as that is their go every game.

'Both were really clear': Roosters in a rage over ref's contentious calls as Storm win on the back of two dubious tries

All I can say and advise the Panthers and any NRL club on this matter is this, develop local talent and not talent that will always want to go home e.g. from either NZ or Queensland, as this is what happens with all of them once they get on top 😂 the fish has done a dirty on the Panthers imo and has negotiated a contract behind the Panthers NRL clubs back, he had 2 years left on his contract, which imo he’s done the dirty on the Pnathers! Where is the NRL integrity committee, as they are the biggest joke going around for continually allowing this to happen with so called “NRL Players Contracts”.

The Fish that broke the Panthers’ back: Dynasty in danger with JFH the biggest blow in long list of star departures

Its Mark Ellison who is responsible for all on-field requirements of the Club including coaching, recruitment, retention, player development, pathways and NRL team management and he should be sacked as he’s been on a siesta all 2022/23 and done nothing, as he could have seen what was going on in this roster.

Too old, too slow: Do these two stats explain why Souths have fallen off a cliff in 2024?

That’s what I’ve been saying also SSTID as unless that changes Souths have no chance the way they are going now. Souths have NO decent crop of emerging players and very few in the rookie area who are NRL standard, this is the management fault and that is where Souths need a change also. Can’t see things being fixed in 2024 and at least 2 years after as Souths will be lucky to be higher than 14th on the ladder this year, as this side will go from bad to worse.

Too old, too slow: Do these two stats explain why Souths have fallen off a cliff in 2024?

Its NOT a rant, it might NOT register with you, so give us your answer smarty pants as you seem to ask allot of questions and you seem to criticize every answer, but have nothing in return.

'F--- me, he's on another planet': Stuart rips into Hasler after Titans coach fumes at referee calls in golden-point thriller

That is not a valid excuse for a coach like Des who is trying to get his side up every week and he’s done everything for the Titans to be competitive, last nights game was 25% ruined by the referees’ bad decisions. The Titans imo were the better side even with all the bad decisions that were made and they should have won. A referee getting experience should not be at the expense of a team as that is not how a game of NRL should be decided as the game last night was.

'F--- me, he's on another planet': Stuart rips into Hasler after Titans coach fumes at referee calls in golden-point thriller

Of course I have, but I’m the biggest critic when games are games are refereed like they were last night. I very rarely have complained on a well-balanced refereed game, unless its so blatantly bad like it was last night, when I have to speak out (and its NOT because Des Hasler is blowing up either) this was a badly refereed game overall. The massive 6 again against the Titans, and the most important stage of the game, when the charge down by the Raiders was an offside and should have been a penalty to the Titans are all questionable decisions by any referee. which are all a sign of a badly refereed game, that is what I’m complaining about.

I realize that Kasey Badger is a new referee in the NRL but that is not an excuse for a get out of jail card by the NRL, as they should appoint a competent referee. To tell you the truth, this game was a very painful watch, but I forced myself to watch the whole game as my main interest in games like these, is the phycology of how these referees work overall and justify their bad performances, is it just plain incompetence or is it a tactic of refereeing games that they are instructed to do from the top, as their decisions at the end of the game and how the NRL will justify all this is intriguing and very interesting.

'F--- me, he's on another planet': Stuart rips into Hasler after Titans coach fumes at referee calls in golden-point thriller

Firstly I’m not the only one that thinks this way, and if you thought that this game was a fairly refereed game, there is something wrong with you or you are a Raiders fan. The 6 again is the worst rule ever introduced into the NRL, as no one has a clue why they are called, as the referees don’t call them out why? The 6 again has absolutely ruined the competitiveness of an RL game imo (and its not like a penalty or a better rule to replace a penalty) and the sooner its scrubbed out the better, but I’m not holding my breath. There is NO WAY in a million years that I or any punter should have a punt on an NRL game while the 6 again is in play, as its even worse than having a punt on the shortest favorite at Randwick. If you approve of a side winning because of receiving 6 gain and penalties like the Raiders did last night, then keep watching the NRL as I’m getting sick and tired of seeing close and well contested games being ruined by a referee like it was last night. I don’t know where Kasey Badger comes from but if my hunch is correct and she is related to Gerald Badger in any way, then its no surprise where she gets her refereeing standers from.

'F--- me, he's on another planet': Stuart rips into Hasler after Titans coach fumes at referee calls in golden-point thriller

This game was the worse refeered game I’ve ever seen, Des ain’t too happy about a few things and I agree with him 100% as the amount of 6 again and penalties that the Raiders got is ruining the game of RL. Very disappointing as if this keeps going on the NRL will lose allot of fans.

'F--- me, he's on another planet': Stuart rips into Hasler after Titans coach fumes at referee calls in golden-point thriller

yes GB fully agree and as i’ve said they don’t have the roster and/or the coach and coaches to get this side going, ever since Sam Burgess left it seems that the wheels have fallen off and everything has collapsed. Lets just see what happens in 2024 and 2025 as I don’t have much faith in the mob that is managing and/or coaching this side, Souths need a compete clen out from the coaches to the chief executive Blake Solly to the chairman Nick Pappas as they have been asleep at the wheel, and this is the result of their stuff ups!

Demetriou to be 'given the time he needs' as Souths back coach - for now - after Mal all but turns down job
