All you have to do is compare VVD with McGuire…..nuff said. Agree with the more the merrier too, I was thinking about the European leagues and how predictable they are getting (apart from Leicester a few years ago).

Cheers Monorchild – once COVID settles, we are looking at possible relocation. When searching for suburbs, I am now looking for a place within walking distance to a club (wifey doesn’t know this).

Should have got 3 weeks for stupidity alone. No matter which way you look at it, you can’t excuse it. Players know you can’t shoulder charge in today’ game, he jumped into it to make it even worse. Dumb!
Chad Townsend's punishment is manifestly inadequate
Welchy…. long time. Playing 13’s at FB, I felt like Preston Campbell against Sonny Bill with some of the units from Homebush running at me…you were welcome to that spot. I do wish I played a bit more though. Hope you’re well mate.

I don’t anything about the behind the scenes politics, but when we relocate to BNE, I will be watching the club games there with the same atmosphere.

Ha… I recognise that name. Best rugby coach I ever had (although only one in my 1 yr career)…hope you’re well Dave!

Football is my #1 sport having played NPL myself until injury stopped me. I remember watching the likes of Craig Foster playing for them in the old NSL days. Getting to a NPL game is the footballing equivalent of watching a Shute Shield match.

Went to Rat Park a few times myself in yesteryear.
Saw that Manly v Rats last weekend. Would be great to go to that derby soon.

Glad you liked it – I’m assuming you are referring to the Adelaide City in NPL 1?

Sounds good. I’m recovering from a major knee op, so I’ll look into it more. Funnily enough, our family is looking at a move to Brisbane soon, so good to suss out the local club to watch, hopefully like here, within walking distance of our next home. Thx for the heads up!

Would love to see him more in the England shirt on the world stage.
He faces competition though from the likes of James Maddison who is also having a great year. VTID!
