From Christchurch, New Zealand I play League for the Hornby Panthers. Have been a die hard fan of league since i can remember. During my early years I was a Penrith Panthers fan. That was until the Warriors joined the competition. I now passionately support both teams but also dont mind seeing the Titans and whatever team Benjis playing for do well. I have also always supported NSW. My alltime top 5 favourite players(in no particular order and probably because I have always been a small halfback or lock) are: Andrew Johns, Stacey Jones, Preston Campbell, Benji Marshall and Paul Gallen

Agree. move away from the club combos, at least for now. the only current pair that could potentially be as good as the ones you listed above are Luke Keary and Adam Reynolds

PRICHARD: Blues don't look half a chance in Origin

Heres what the teams may look like in a couple years, providing no suprise returns from the likes of Ben te’o

NSW/QLD
Matt Moylan/Greg Inglis
Alex Johnston/Darius Boyd
Dylan Walker/John Folau
Josh Dugan/Will Chambers
James Roberts/Valentine Holmes
Adam Reynolds/Daly Cherry-Evans
Luke Brooks/Ben Hunt
Aaron Woods/Josh McGuire
Mitch Rein or Nathan Peats/Jake Friend
James Tamou/Josh Papalii
Josh Jackson/Aiden Guerra
Boyd Cordner/Matt Gillett
Trent Merrin/Korbin Sims

Jack Bird/Anthony Milford
Andrew Fifita/Dave Taylor
David Klemmer/Dylan Napa
Tyson Frizell/Chris McQueen

Again I think they are very close but I think NSW have the better team

PRICHARD: Blues don't look half a chance in Origin

I think your wrong…

Yes the Blues may have been lucky to win Game 2 and their display in Game 3 was disapointing to say the least
and yes I think QLD will win this years series due to NSW injuries/suspensions and the fact that the Maroons will be out for revenge
but I think it will be a last hurrah for this great side, the future for NSW looks alot brighter than that of QLD

Queensland are gonna go through the same problem as the Kangaroos. This teams been so good for so long that very few new players get a look in. They will have to go through a possible 2 year rebuilding stage at some point and it wont be til this team gets dominated. Therefore I think NSW could win at least 3 in a row in the near future

Representative weekend preview part three: Pacific Islands

This looks like the likely 17 going into this weekend from whats been rumored

1.Slater, 2.Johnston/Dugan, 3.Jennings, 4.Inglis, 5.Chambers, 6.Thurston, 7.Cronk, 8.Scott, 9.Smith, 10.Woods, 11.Bird, 12.Myles, 13.Parker, 14.Hunt/CherryEvans, 15.Thaiday, 16.Papalii, 17.Cordner

Dear Tim, just pick the best 17

They have a wealth of backrowers… Thaiday, Guerra, Parker, Papalii, Gillett, McQueen… Id be tempted to play Gillett or McQueen in the centres if that was the case. Slater will be fine though. Heres my QLD backline. Slater at Fullback, Holmes and Barba on the wing and Inglis and Chambers in the centres. I think Hodges should retire from rep footy but I dont think he will. I expect him to be named in the centres with Chambers on the wing

Who fills Boyd's gap for the Maroons?

Wants to play for New Zealand but until he actualy plays for them he is available to play for Tonga

Representative weekend preview part one: Kiwis

Unfortunately Browns injured at the moment, id usualy include him aswell. I also rate Hoffman very highly and would love to see him get a run but I think Kearneys more likely to go with Hiku

Representative weekend preview part one: Kiwis

Id still opt for Marshall. Hes the in-form player. Luke can play 80mins but should he get injured then play Foran at Hooker, he played there on occasions at the start of his career. Should the Kiwis be injury free during the game then Benji wouldnt get alot of game time but you could bring him on for say 20 minutes. Move Foran to loose forward, similar to what Queensland/Australia do with Thurston/Cronk/Cherry-Evans. If alls going well then u dont have to play him at all but at least that option will be there

Representative weekend preview part one: Kiwis

Heres my team after taking injuries into account

1.Josh Dugan
2.Alex Johnston
3.Josh Morris
4.Michael Jennings
5.Daniel Tupou
6.Josh Reynolds
7.Trent Hodkinson
8.Aaron Woods
9.Robbie Farah
10.Paul Gallen(c)
11.Boyd Cordner
12.Ryan Hoffman
13.Greg Bird

14.Luke Lewis
15.Trent Merrin
16.David Klemmer
17.Andrew Fifita

18th Man-Josh Jackson

State of Origin 2015 early edition: NSW’s front row

Best. Team. Ever. The ultimate rugby league side

Likewwise with New Zealand. Their NRL contingent would predominently come fron the North Island. Infact I could probably count on my fingers the ones currently playing that are from the South Island… here goes… Simon Mannering, Jason Nightingale, Lewis Brown, Matt Duffie, Nu Brown, Penani Manumaleali’i, Pita Godinet, Matt Mcillwick and Jeremy Smith(arguably)
