Thanks geoff for your excellent posts on the WC.

Week 5 World Cup reflections: Entering the war zone

Just brilliant.
What a classy performance, best I have ver seen.

No luck for the Irish: All Blacks into semis with 46-14 win

I have loved the Tahs since 1959 but Christ it is hard!

Super Rugby Round 5: Perfection lives here

As a rule, I always take allegations such as those that Crowden makes with a grain of salt. The herald has been in court recently for printing unsubstantiated alllegations fmade by ‘a senior and reputable reporter’.
And the herald rabbits on about defamation laws!
They should just print facts, not rumours from’a reliable source’. Maybe ASIO did the investiagtion that Greg C was gossiping about!

The rugby world should take Greg Growden's Wallabies match-fixing allegations seriously

What channel is it on?

Will Ireland’s northern hemisphere dominance continue?

Some excellent points made LB.
Why Beale has not been benched is a mystery and Gordon deserves at least 10 mins on the field.
All Hanigan lacks is bulk up top. He should ask Pocock what he has been taking and feed himself up!
The wallabies revived my hopes for EOYT.
PS Sonny Bill was ordinary; he should get the chop for Goodhue and Crotty.

VOTE: Wallabies DIY player ratings vs All Blacks - Bledisloe 3

I noted that the Wallabies played better in the forwards.
Hanigan and Simmons stepped up and ran hard and tackled well.
Both our front rows looked solid when not slapping faces.
Refereeing was not good, for both sides. Too much hanging on post tackle and mauls called when tackle was made.
Folau still can’t pass= deduct 45% of contract amount until he can!
KB a passenger; drop him.
Defensive merry-go-round failed again.

Seven talking points from Bledisloe Game 3

Nick,
Thanks for pointing out the obvious so that we all have a better understanding of what we are whingeing about.
Not one Roarer over the past few years has tried to defend the way the Wallabies defend!
We used to be the clever Rugby country; now we are the mentally challenged.
The thing I cannot understand is how Nathan Grey, a great defender himself and a very intelligent person does not get it.

It's time for the Wallabies to stop the music on defence

Buzz is from the fake News Ltd Factory.

2018: The year rugby league turned on Buzz Rothfield

Waxhead,

Readers have no reason to assume that you would be a better selector than the coach,
With whom would you replace these players, pray tell?

What the Wallabies need to fix during the Rugby Championship

Agreed. he is the most skilful back playing in Oz( that includes Beale who is a bit too “hail Mary” most of the time.. Pity he is not bigger but he does not shy away from tackling.

Who shapes as bolters in the June internationals?

Agreed. He was bordering on hopeless. He was brushed off in tackles and hurled backwards with the ball. Tom English is a better centre and Hodge should be inside him.
I did not see a single Oz player worthy of a Wallaby jumper last weekend.

Who shapes as bolters in the June internationals?

Malo,

Unfortunately, I do not think so.

Beale back but Wallabies halves miss trial

I think you’ve got something there.
Hodge and Kuridrani in centres.
Henry S was out best back in the first half. Seemed to do more than the 4 tackles he was credited with.
Beale to 10
Moore out
Hannigan out for Timani at 8 and McMahon at 6.

No Dave, he/she was just stating what happens.
Watch All Black forwards jostle players off the ball and get in the way at the breakdown.
Referees have been on to this lately and Mr Barnes was one of the assistants in a Lions Test, I think so he should be alert.

Five keys to Bledisloe success for the Wallabies

They are always light years ahead of us!
What a team! The backline is full of super talent.

Midfield selection quandaries bring the intrigue for Bledisloe 1
