I think you are talking up the WBs chances too much – it doesn’t matter whom NZ plays in the QFs – if the WBs face the Boks in a QF I will still give it to the WBs – what I want is a ABs vs WBs final…and Aus need to beat Wales to hold that chance. NZ have a lot to play for, they can put a ‘ghost’ to rest if they have to play France in Cardiff, or if they play Ireland, NZ have never lost to them…so that makes it a ABs vs Boks SF – it will be a good game and NZ will take it…as for your bit of rust…not sure what you are specifically saying…?

Ditto BB – I think the extrapolations writers have been making of how the Boks have come on and how the Aussies have come on don’t necessarily equate to continuing to do well…there is a lot to be said of teams who don’t show all of their hand or hic-splutter but still win well – the reality is they can come home with a roar from QF stage on….I think the ABs are going to be pretty hard to beat.

If England win (4pts) they go to (10) with a 5pt bonus win against Uruguay they will be (15)
If WBs are within 7 they get the bonus of 1 and go to (10).
If WBs win (4pts) they will be same as Wales (13) but I think their for/against is better and so WBs will go top of pool. It will be tough to get 5point bonus I think?
If England gets 1bonus pt they will be (7) then they play Uruguay where they should get 5pt bonus and be (12) or 15 – if they beat the WBs 4pts.
It is an interesting scenario – Wales are sitting at the front door of the QF’s – ENG v AUS will be fascinating depending who wins can mean there is a CRUNCH AT THE TOP OF THAT TABLE…

not going to happen, QC will bomb out trying to be too clever, Speight was absent from place of duty against the ABs at Eden Park and is prone to lifting players in tackles, Matt – I am not sure what has happened to him, maybe it was the knocks to his head (and I mean that in a sincere manner) because he seems to have lost some confidence. Sorry I don’t agree with you AVZ – prodigious talent – maybe 5 years ago but that got wiped in 2011 and he has never ever recovered, he got blitzed again in Auckland to underline his weaknesses and consistency is something he will never achieve and the pity will be for him not realise his prodigious talent from 5 years ago…I think he is better suited to 7’s…

I think you jest or you don’t know your rugby – England has a back row rated No.1 – yeah right!!! I would put NZ ahead of them on a bad day. Australia will be good as will SA – Argentina are not consistent enough against the top tier yet even though they beat SA in SA.
