Last season the Perth Lynx ended the season 8–13, good for fifth place and just missing out on the playoffs.
The Sydney Uni Flames finished in sixth place with a record of 7–14.
Maybe the happiest review, the Champions. It rolls off the tongue now, Canberra Capitals are once again Champions, the Triple C. Canberra Finished the regular season at 15–6, good for third place.
Townsville Fire had a 5–16 season in 2019-20, seeing them tied for last place. However, due to a tiebreaker they finished in seventh over Bendigo.
Melbourne boomed through the 2019-20 regular season to finish 16–7.
In the 2019-20 season Adelaide finished with a 12-11 record, good enough for fourth place and a finals berth.
