Lifelong Reds tragic and Wallaby supporter. Love the Maroons. Live in NQ and back the Cowboys and will climb aboard the Broncos or Titans if they are winning. Outside of the Roar I am an assistant junior rugby coach and sail out of the Whitsunday Sailing Club.

Onya Bolting, happy days

CHAMPIONS: Springboks strike late to win third Rugby World Cup

Not often you see the English scrum destroyed. Well played SA, huge win.

Why should the haka even be performed?, it’s a game of rugby not a pantomime.

England fined for haka drama

Love your work Funbus, back to your best after being a bit quiet during the Ashes.

It's time for a rule change

The pommie pack with Kyle Sinkler at the front will niggle Barrett for all they are worth hoping he has a brain fade and lashes out.

Five reasons why Hansen’s Scott Barrett surprise could be a master stroke

“And through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up, I spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way”

Wallaby coach

Cheika's legacy: Consistent inconsistency and puzzling selection to the very end

Go Wallabies, give the soap dodgers a flogging.

With a massive selection gamble, Michael Cheika rearranges the deck chairs once again

Well I am very relaxed about the goings on in tah world. Hopefully they can maintain momentum and really implode by the start of Super rugby next year.

Andrew Hore gamed the Waratahs – but he's not to blame

I was worried Poite would go the card on Hooper and Kerevi. Both times he went through the process rationally and decided warnings and penalties were the go, so no complaints from me.

The scrum penalty that Poite reversed was correct, Sio struggled against the Welsh no.3 in the first scrum and in the ensuing scrum hit the ground out of control like a 3.30pm school bag under ppressure from Wales.

The Wallabies didn't lose because of Romain Poite, but World Rugby, we do have a problem

Chieka’s interview was an embarrassment. Foley was his usual game a fizzer. Wales played well with AWJ having a Captains knock.

Wales withstand Wallabies' second-half fightback

But where was your outrage after Barrets shoulder?. You don’t have a dog in the fight in an Oz v Fiji game We’re you as morally outraged when Moody elbowed Beales throat, did you decry $BW with his shoulder in the Lions game. Or are you a typical pious kiwi who can only criticise and never self reflect?

More World Cup fan angst to come as farcical Hodge suspension sinks in

Funny see the term faux outrage from a thin skinned Kiwi concerning a game between Oz and Fiji Rebel, irony is far to a sophisticated concept for the people from the land of the long wide eyebrow to master.

Perhaps we could bring up his 47% win ratio or the first Oz 5/8 to orchestrate a 3-0 loss in June tests. Your right Paul, Super rugby form is irrelevant. 😂

Wallabies make major changes for Wales Rugby World Cup match

You’ll have to apply ice Chook to quell your excitement seeing your little blue buddy Foley back at 10.

Just out of interest do you think the pop gun kick, the limited passing game or hiding on the wing in defence will be the game breaker that opens Wales up?

Wallabies make major changes for Wales Rugby World Cup match

Hopefully Grey puts a rocket up the squad about keeping contact low. 3 weeks seems fair.

Hodge banned from Wallabies pool games

As annoying that it is, I do find the Haka does get my blood pumping before a Bledisloe.
I am curious though, why do other NZ national teams not feel the need to carrying on like a four year old poking their tongue : Black Caps don’t seem to feel the need to act like that before a test.

Hands off our haka

I listened to the ABC radio call whilst driving Melon. Phil Mooney said as much, the unstructured plays, offloading and sniping is exactly what Fiji rugby know, hence we laboured with that tactic. Mooney’s call for the second half was play structured footy and take on their set piece.

Rugby World Cup: Five talking points from Wallabies vs Fiji

Ben O’Keefe has no problem with Kiwis elbowing players throats but decides to ping a player going for a ball legally.

Michael Cheika fumes after referee focus on David Pocock

Gotta agree with Carlos, Puma sides in the last few World Cups have been very strong. I was surprised to see BO’D named, his world cup form has always been below his 6N heroics, whilst no one mentions Felipe Contepomi. FC has been far more influential in World Cup games than B’OD.

The Roar's 50 greatest players in Rugby World Cup history: 15-11

No arguements from me Geoff on your picks, sensational players, big Gav was always a favourite.

The Roar’s 50 greatest players in Rugby World Cup history: 20-16

Missing touch finders never harmed Foley’s chances.

Five talking points from Wallabies vs Samoa World Cup warm-up

Onya Pat, thanks for telling me about Tip.

Labuschagne's heroics echo through Ashes history

He plays for QLD.

Warner has lost the plot – and his off stump

Good article Simon, player retention at the top may simply increase once Clown gets punted.
Chieka is toxic and many players have decided to take the cash rather than hang around under his tuition. Ex rugby league outside backs seem to do well from the Clowns largesse.

How can Australian rugby protect itself from rich European clubs?

My memory was Robbie Deans as coach was not hounded out of a job but lost his position after coaching a losing series against the Lions. He held the position for 6 years and is one of the longest serving Wallaby coaches in history.
