If I understand this right after 90 years or so Leichhardt Oval is worth nothing and should be flushed down one of those new fancy toilets everyone is talking about. So… who here wants to press the button to destroy all that rugby league history? Don’t be shy, sounds like there’s plenty of cruel and twisted fans of the game posting here

'It’s pointless us playing here': Richo's grave warning on Leichhardt as Tigers take aim at 'gold urinals' Panthers

This article somewhat aged poorly

COMMENT: Horrendously out of form or not, Australia would be mad to ditch Marnus now

Gotta hate the loud minority and their politics. Unlike the bloke who wrote the article I’m a proud Aussie who loves this country, and the 26th will always be Australia day to me. And to those who want to rip everything apart I have just two words… bugger off

Cricket can’t solve Australia Day conundrum - it’s not up to sports to make tough decisions for governments

Sweating on Khawaja? couldn’t help but snort in amusement as I think like most people most openers around the country could easily fill in for one Test, its after all its a Test match of Men vs Boys.

Khawaja injury revealed as opener in doubt for Brisbane Test, Adelaide curator unimpressed with own pitch

As much as a fan of Boland I am, the fact remains there’s too much doubt and so the decision should’ve gone with the batsmen in this case every day of the week

REACTION: 'Cheat, cheat, cheat!' Greats fume, fans enraged as Green catch controversy divides cricket world

All i’ll say on the matter is the bloke is on the up swing getting better and better each season. If the injury heals right and still in his early 20s I won’t be surprised to see him playing for Australia in the next few years

Stress fracture ends Aussie hopeful's Ashes bid

While listening to parts of the game last week I was surprise to hear the female commentator make excuses for WA for their preformance being flat and the match having little meaning. There are players in the WA squad that are looking to impress the selecters while others on the fringe who want to push into the WA 11. The Vics do have an interesting choice to make with Murphy though WA does have a lot of right handers in their batting lineup. Unlike what happened in India and their poor pitches the Shield final should be a must watch for the red ball fans of the game

Flourishing young quicks and a 'Bazball' bat paving Victoria's road to the Shield final

The reality of the matter is timing is everything. Right now for these upcoming one dayers they want experienced players as well as bringing in blokes who’d been injured for some time. Short is one of a few batsmen who have earned a spot for both their batting and bowling, however Warner is still untouchable in white ball cricket so these new player’s form and potential is wasted. Waste of time complaining about it…

Warner returning to India: Selectors go back to the past in veteran-heavy Australian ODI squad

Warner’s spot in the side may appear untouchable however here’s a question for the selectors, if Green is fit to bowl who gets booted from the 11 in the 3rd Test?
Listening to SEN’s coverage it was mentioned day two tends to be the best day for batting, personally thought we’re 40 to 50 runs short but I guess we’ll find out today.
If there is still injured players left in the squad and Maxwell plays well in next week’s Shield game then ship him over on the first flight

Khawaja, Handscomb shine but Warner may be subbed out as India in control despite Aussies putting up fight

The funny thing is Marnus is pretty much an openner anyways thanks to Warner and his ability to fine ways to get out. No doubt Boland is finished for the tour if Starc’s ready to play so just send him home, as for Starc lets see how useless he’ll be after his first spell. As for the final 11 frankly not even god himself would know what the selecters will pick but whoever makes it most here will no doubt complain about it like always

Drop Murphy, pick just one spinner, Head returns: Border wants to ‘harden up’ Aussies with major changes

The 2nd test lineup for the Aussies will all depend on injuries. Australia only had two real partnerships and I suspect Handscomb will be dropped unfairly, he did after all run out of partners. God knows what bowling lineup will be picked, Cummins leadership needs questioning considering he didn’t use Boland properly. Though a little early to question Lyon’s spot for India, if he can’t step up and lead the attack in the next Test… that would test the selectors, Warner sadly seems untouchable.

Spin bolter a 'live chance' to play, Head set to replace Warner as Cummins defends controversial selections

Here’s a bit of little truth, it doesn’t matter what tweaks to the batting order it doesn’t change the fact most of the blokes can’t handle these pitches. As he said Head was hot this Aussie summer on our own pitches, as for Green if he even gets fit enough to bowl I can see him getting cross-eyed by the Indian spinners. If people are looking for targets to blame overall then don’t look any ferther then the 6 States and their policy on pitch preparation for Shield cricket.

'Poor all round', 'There's got to be changes' - Mr 16.95 Warner needs to be put out of misery after Aussies caned: Talking Points

A 5th bowler in the end won’t matter for two reasons, one being the top 4 batsmen unable to build an innings and Lyon our lead bowler unable to stand up. Head would only be needed if things start going wrong, Green would have little effect and both I suspect won’t do any better. The simple fact of the matter our batsmen picked for the tour aren’t up to the task

'Poor all round', 'There's got to be changes' - Mr 16.95 Warner needs to be put out of misery after Aussies caned: Talking Points

On that pitch Head wouldn’t have lasted 6 balls but I’ll imagine he’ll be in the 2nd test match so all Head’s fangirls can calm down. Cummins bowling was so bad a blind man could’ve done better and as for Warner I saw that coming a mile away

'Bowled an absolute buffet': Hayden slams 'rubbish' Cummins as Rohit, Jadeja take Aussies to the cleaners

These five practice matches the Aussies have played this summer have been pretty lifeless, watching or listening everyone and its dog knock around a few thousand runs for fun has long ago lost its luster. Am looking forward to actual Test match cricket when the Aussies tour and actually face real first rate cricket teams. Though were amused by the 11 the selecters picked for this practice game as it made zero sense, always a fun time watching CA leadership run around like fools making bone headed choices. Perhaps next summer of cricket will actually have test matches for us all to watch and complain about…

FLEM'S VERDICT: Uzzy, Uzzy, Uzzy, Oi, Oi, Oi - Khawaja stocks rise even higher as bizarre Proteas tactics backfire

The summer of disappointment continues with pointless cricket. Doesn’t matter who’s picked really as the Aussies pretty much has the 3rd test won already, frankly would feel actual excitement for an Australia vs Australia A Test match as we would get a contest of skill instead of this joke. Damn annoying to have to wait for our team to travel overseas to see them at their best, or worse as I have this sneaky feeling. Thinkin

In-form duo recalled, rising star in mix for SCG Test debut as Aussie selectors consider options to replace Green, Starc

I’m reminded of young Pucovski and his mental issues. He chose his health over a promising cricket career, so the question is why isn’t Warner following suit and stepping down from all cricket forms

'Didn't really have any support': Warner takes latest whack at CA over leadership ban ahead of 100th Test

To earn that money for doing nearly nothing is pretty much the biggest joke of the year. Will be interesting to see in 2023 if expectation will crush Green or not

'I'm pinching myself': Green becomes most expensive Australian IPL buy ever with $3.15 MILLION payday

No matter how poorly he’ll bat this summer he’s ticket to the Ashes is booked. The Selecters don’t have the balls to drop him anyways, just put their heads in the sand and ignore the issue all together.

Warner latest Test great to falter after turning 35: Reflexes slowing, feet not dancing, time not on his side

The funny thing is warner doesn’t have the runs on the board anymore to even keep himself in the Test 11

'She lost a baby', 'You can murder 25 people and get a trial': Warner's manager's fury as Candice, Clarke, Healy hit out

Considering these two Test matches are nothing but batting practice and help to inflate the boys batting averages, There’s no excuse for these flat track bullies getting out for no score. There’s no reason to even watch these two Tests, one sided games are a waste of time and most Aussies have beter things to do

Warner's woes: The Bull now the elephant in the room, and form slump can't be ignored anymore

Read this, rolled my eyes and moved on with my day

'Un-Australian': Clarke tees off at 'nice' Aussies after meek World Cup exit, Watto calls for shock new skipper

Reading through some of the childish comments about the Aussie coach and some of the players one can’t help but shake their head in disappointment .
For now when it comes to the future of the iT20 squad not much will happen for a time unless one of the players come forward and retire themselves. The BBL will be important however I don’t see many changes in 2023.

Australia bundled out of T20 World Cup after England sneak past Sri Lanka to snatch semi-final spot

Seeing the 11 for tonight’s game pretty much spelled the end for Australia’s WC bid. one question I like to know is why was Maxwell banned from bowling, its been clear all WC that the fast bowlers haven’t been up to it and our best all rounder was ignored for bowling. The ultimate blame does fall on the bowling group in the end, the batsmen were on the backfoot since the first match and never recovered. Finch may very well not retire straight away as there’s no iT20 games for some time if I recall, however the bowling group needs to be rebuild from scratch. It was fun while it lasted and won’t be surprised if 2/3s of the squad are replaced within the next year

Australia's T20 World Cup title defence all but over despite edging out Afghanistan after Starc's surprise axing

In the end all the negativity here from the so-called experts won’t matter, not if the weather forecast rings true.

Australia can't win World Cup unless Finch makes toughest call of career to retire, effective immediately
