Guys, this is a sports site.

Who has the most to lose in the Rugby Championship?

Not that they can afford to pay out his contract, but Ricky Stuart needs to go (as well as everyone involved in the decision to hire him).

Canberra Raiders vs New Zealand Warriors: NRL live scores

Firstly, I look forward to a good call by DC. Always insightful.

Crusaders by 8.

The Brumbies would have won last week if they had a) Left Jesse Mogg in ACTRU Premier Grade where he belongs and b) Not been the only team in the history of professional rugby to go into a finals game without someone who can kick goals at a Under 12 level.

Crusaders don’t have either of those problems, will dominate the set piece and the flat-track Tahs will not know what hit them.

Great read.

Reality begins to bite Robinson and his Roosters

What’s the record for most comments in a Roar article?

I recall a pretty big one by Pippinu about 5 years ago (AFL v. Soccer) but I reckon we could break it tonight.

2014 Super Rugby grand final will be epic

BREAKING NEWS: Cook plays badly unless he doesn’t.

Shock: Cook scores runs as England win a Test

The hosts get the choose where the game is played. It is not unreasonable that the creation of promotional material for the game should take place in a nearby location.

If the Tahs wanted to do the photoshoot in Sydney Cove they should have played the game at Moore Park.

Super Rugby final: Read storms out of photo shoot with tardy Hooper

I suppose “Read leaves photo shoot after hour” doesn’t quite have the same pizzazz as clickbait.

When I place a bet (which is often) I know that the teams being provisional is just one of many risks you have to consider.

If you don’t like it, place your bets immediately prior to kickoff, or don’t bet at all.

Having said that, it would be great if teams could just have the player wearing a number that corresponds to his position at kickoff. Union teams run out with 1 to 15 on their backs no matter how many personnel changes have taken place in the past week. There should never be a player on the field who doesn’t have a number between 1 and 17 on his back.

SMITHY: What's in a number? Clubs should announce squads, not teams

The Wallabies won the comp by 3 points. They were the only team to play full strength all tournament.

If you are seriously suggesting the Wallabies would have won the 3N if 2011 was not a RWC year then I have a bridge to sell you.

It was little more than a pre-season hit out. I’m not going to insult the winning Wallabies of 2000 and 2001 by pretending 2011 was in the same category.

While we are at it I’m not too keen on the 2007 3N either, South Africa treated that tournament as a joke. We would be better off removing the RWC year tournament if teams aren’t going to take it seriously.

The Wallabies did get a slight advantage in that the other two teams rested their big names for the World Cup.

…and here I was thinking microeconomic reform was the key to economic growth.

I’ve no idea what you think you were watching, but the Broncos and Warriors have never met in a Grand Final.

The Waratahs represent (most of) New South Wales, not Australia.

If you judge your masculinity through your support for Aussies v. Foreigners then that’s up to you, but I’ll be backing the Crusaders tonight.

Ode to those brave rugby souls
