[VIDEO] Adelaide Crows vs Port Adelaide Power highlights: Showdown live scores, blog
Since that game of 2013 you referred to there have been 2 showdowns and it’s 1 all … google it. There are some more auto selections for the Crows too like Douglas, Betts, Smith, Van Berlo, Thompson I could go on. It should be a great game and I hope its decided by one team winning not one losing !!
2015 AFL season: Round 5 preview
haha. I mustn’t have much sense then
Demons target Dangerfield but Crows remain unbeaten
The most value of Griffin comes when he takes the tag and the plethora of younger midfielders can do as they please with little attention on them. With a 2-0 start, you’d have to say its worked.
AFL stock watch Round 2
hahaha. homesick. it’s very simple. Home is where the heart is and the heart is where the cash is. Therefore, home is where the cash is.
Revisiting the 2009 draft
I agree these have been great fun! Tippett in front of Westhoff could have gone either way, but I might’ve had him in front on account of more goals. The Crows are an interesting bunch. We have had some absolute shockers like James Sellar and Jarran Jacky which make be cringe every time I hear them (not often to be fair) but made some ground with Tex at pick 75 and Graham Joncock at 67 amongst others.
Revisiting the 2006 AFL draft
It certainly is interesting, but also not hard. Good teams will take their chances!! Your table shows how much it impacts the poorer teams and how even some of the better teams like Port and Sydney can be poor.
Fact or fiction: Bad kicking is bad football
Dad lives in Port Lincoln and was certainly a factor, but I think he would have stayed at Carlton if the offer was nearly as good. He actually worked as a teacher (music I think) in Melbourne and had a young family settled there.
Carlton singing the Eddie Betts Blues
haha. I wish it was Tippett and Davis. Mate, it was a parade when you add Bock, Gunston and Maric on

I was considering doing that and also going into disposal efficiency, but to be honest I got bored! Maybe another time

Yeah that looked a lot better in the word document than it does there. sorry about that

they’re paying Thomas 700K a year. In hindsight not only is Eddie a much better player, but he was asking for significantly less. Daisy was under an injury cloud at the time and they still offered him 4 years, so I don’t know why they though Eddie wasn’t worth it.

He’s on 4 years and $2 million so I think the issue was actually the length of the deal. Whatever the case may be, its worked.

Swiss army knife – more like swisse army knife. In all seriousness though the bombers are a very strong outfit. They have the depth across the whole field that very few other clubs have. If Joe Daniher can step up and kick 40-50 goals this season, they will be a top 6 team at least. My only concern is that the lack of a pre-season will last longer than one week. Only time will tell and I will watch on with great interest.
Watch this space: Are the Bombers contenders in 2015?
I’d fit Douglas and Stokes into my ten and probably take Varcoe and Daisy out. Daisy was great but not fr long, those two are still going as strong as ever. I hate to rely on stats only, but Douglas (46th) and Stokes (82nd) are ranked much higher than Thomas(309th) and Varcoe (233rd) on the player rankings.
Revisiting the 2005 AFL draft
If Collingwood are having midfield and backline issues they have the wrong opponent coming up. Tex could run rampant
Pies up for midfield challenge: Buckley
I feel like Phil Walsh’s game plan is not that different to Brenton Sanderson. Our best wins game when we put manic pressure, particularly in the forward line, on the opposition. Thinking back to our round 9 win against Collingwood our pressue was great and likewise against Port in the Showdown. The thing that will make Walsh a great coach as opposed to Sando will be the ability to do it consistently. The other really pleasing thing from Saturday’s win was our ability to make better decisions. Tex only got half his goals from delivery that was to his advantage from the mids, unlike last year where we bombed it to Eddie Betts with 5 defenders on him and expected him to take mark of the year. We’ve got a soft draw too, can’t wait for the round 5 showdown. We should be 4-0 and Port may be 2-2 or even 1-3.
Adelaide's 2015 prospects are certainly worth Crowing about
After collingwood are the dees, bulldogs, a showdown then gold coast, the saints and the giants. A 7-1 or even 8-0 start is very possible
Taylor Walker puts the competition on notice
Oh my Goddard. these are aweful
