Game not far away

Melbourne United vs Townsville Crocodiles: NBL results, scores, blog

The Crocs are up against it tonight, facing a red-hot United side. Blanchfield and Goulding have been hot from the outside. Townsville need to find a way to keep them quite.
Brian Conklin will need a big game for the Crocs to have any chance. He was great last time out against United. Melbourne seem to struggle defending the post, can Townsville take advantage?

Definitely the 2015 Cricket World Cup Final Adam

What sports event would you jump into a time machine to see?

Swampy, Your 3pt calculations are way off. 7 teams are at 31% or above – 4 teams are over 37%. The 3pt shooting, so far, has been unbelievable. And teams are shooting a lot of them, which probably ha something to do with the poor fg% overall.

Can the NBL overtake the A-League as Australia's second summer sport?

Check realgm, has everything you’re looking for. Percentages are a lot higher than u think. Have you watch Melbourne or Illawarra this year?

Can the NBL overtake the A-League as Australia's second summer sport?

I mean I’ve seen that reported on several different reputable newspapers/websites, so unless everyone is lying about it.

Can the NBL overtake the A-League as Australia's second summer sport?

The ton of interest in NBA isn’t up for debate. The league pass subscription numbers confirm how popular it is in Oz.

Can the NBL overtake the A-League as Australia's second summer sport?

If run correctly, the sky’s the limit for the NBL. We saw how popular it was in the 90’s, Aussies love basketball – It’s only a matter of time before those days return. As for number 2 sport, i dont know.

In Perth, the Wildcats have been more popular than the Glory, even during the dark days of the NBL but i know thats not the case in most cities. The Wildcats have been lucky to have an owner with deep pockets, which enabled the club to spend money on marketing. Other NBL teams haven’t had the same fortune. Who knows with more money coming in, the other franchises might see similar results.

Can the NBL overtake the A-League as Australia's second summer sport?

Cheers Scott. I was pretty close to putting the Hawks at two but they haven’t earned it yet. As for the poor Crocs, they’re destined to remain at 8th, unfortunately.

NBL Round 2 power rankings

Bit harsh on Baynes. I’m sure he considers himself an Aussie.
