Great breakdown. Thanks for the insight

Is bigger always better for Australian players who go to Europe?

This is the best take, IMO.

Has England won the international bidding war for the son of Wallabies legend?

😂 😂

WALLABIES TEAM: Izaia Perese debuts, Rory Arnold starts, as Beale and Skelton also named to face Scotland

I think the issue in the lawsuits isn’t JUST the risk Of head injury, but whether or not various governing bodies knew about the risk and did not tell the players. If everyone knows the risks as they are understood at the time, the players can make their own informed choices, which is what the NFL and college teams are doing in the US for gridiron football. Everybody gets advised of the risks and then decides to take them or not. The big money settlements happened because the former player showed that various entities knew but lied or mislead players as to known risks

Rugby World: Ex-All Blacks prop, 41, has dementia, two new Wallabies call ups, Eddie under fresh attack

Thanks for explaining. I’m not fully up to speed on those machinations. Purely from a spectacle point of view I always want to see the best playing with the best, but I understand how his own actions have dictated his present situation based on your explanation.

If he’d stayed home and started most games for ABs at 15, I wonder what the difference in remuneration would have been over this time?

'They were nervous': Rennie confirms Kerevi, McMahon, Hodge OUT of spring tour and serious doubt over Quade

Broadly agree up to the piatau part. I’d love to see that fellow have a run at 15 for the ABs. Might be epic.

Does Quade have visa issues perhaps?

Argies’ light blue is one of the best kits going in my opinion.

REACTION: Everything 'grumpy' Rennie said, including left field excuse for 'frustrating' win

Valetini is coming on strong this series. To me he’d been a bit “looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane” in other previous test outings. I’m glad to be proved wrong though because the back row needs a beefy boy who can hit and carry.

MATCH REPORT: 'Box office' Thor hammers South Africa as Wallabies charge to famous victory

I just watched and somewhere around 70 minutes TT got pinged for arm bind and dropping scrum. Can’t definitively remember others that were his.

Nuclear hot take.

'He's a freak': Quade questions won't go away, while legend calls for 'Thor' to start

I like it but would switch in White and maybe Petaia to wing

Thorn’s ability to man manage and select a team are yet to be determined, in my humble opinion. Nella is obviously one of the most talented men in his squad so it’s no stroke of genius to praise him.

That’s basically the old recruitment pipeline for college and men’s club rugby in the states. Tons of guys at college still want to have a run and the rugby clubs try to sign them up. Youth club and high school rugby is growing but I’d bet most men’s players started either in a college club or the armed forces.

Major League Rugby: The sleeping giant takes its first steps

Hooper will be exposed? Look, I hugely loved Pocock and I get that there are other 7s out there who do it differently, but surely by now you can see that Hooper is one of the best on the park most days for Aus. Deathriding him seemed boring already years ago.

What Hooper and Rennie said about Jordan Petaia, Eden Park and Quade Cooper ahead of the Bledisloe Cup

😂

Left due to The pay cut issue and/or Darth Thorn, right?

I like Isi a lot, but is he’s a balancing grafting force you need at six with Hooper at seven?

As a former habitual team rule breaker I can see this both ways, but I agree no shame in enforcing team rules, especially leading up to bledisloe

Is this Johan as in Rassie’s alter ego? The mind games continue!

Damn. Rodda catching stray bullets over here. What did he do?

I dunno man. I love itoje and think he’s on track as a future all time great but have to concede that AWJ is an absolute monster and miracle at his age. Huge asset for Lions though I had my doubts and still think his work rate could be duplicated by some of the other locks in the squad

Is rugby enough to hold South Africa together?

I was watching on a poor quality stream, but that pass looked dubious to me as well. Not a peep from ref.

Reaction: Rennie to ring changes after emotional French end 31-year hoodoo

Bruh…several of those guys are as good as you could hope. Played in a World Cup final, etc. Also, ned is a fine fellow and tried hard. Why you want to do him dirty ?

Is it time to show the winless Waratahs some love?

#justiceforned I won’t have you impugn my shaggy boy like that
