God Ned Zelic is being a bit biased tonight, “wasn’t a pen at all” “wasn’t worth the second yellow” and when Milligan two foots jumpie he claims not showing a yellow was common sense?

I can’t beleive sydeny only had 2 yellows in that game, the amount of cynical and proffesional fouls was ridicoulous,
Muscat was bad

They can get an injury replacement, whose wag would not count inside the cap, also his visa wouldn’t take up a spot, however the jets still have a visa and marquee spot free, so I doubt the injury replacement rule would change anything
Is Ernie Merrick the Jets’ best ever pilot?
Good decision, clear offside in the end,

well our first two games against them last year (FFA cup & fortnight after) we only conceded 1 goal and that was a cheap penalty by a player who should of been sent off.
the real test would be how we are looking after 8, if city have more then 4 clean sheets, they have tightened up

I’m enjoying the sterner defence so far this season, the results close to what occurred last year, but this time I feel we won both games due to defense, not attack
However one hope is with the back 4 and the 2 deep lying shielding midfielders, that we don’t end up having no one in transition, Marcin B was close to furfilling this Saturday, however he didn’t do it to the standard we need.
RE Jakobsen, he impressed me in midfield, make smart passes, was often in the right position, and make life difficult for troisi and Kosta. Yes he wasn’t decive in the front 3rd, but not every midfielder is, he isn’t playing as a Lampard style, more of an Eric Dier type, and I’m happy with this, regardless of his finishing.
Muscat struggled against Leroy, was often out of posistion and I blaim him for the goal, however Bart is the only reliable other choice at Rb, but he looks strong at Cb ATM, maybe when Kilkenny returns and MJ moved to cb we can omit muscat

as a uni student, these times really arent an issue for me, however it is so easy to understand why.
surely someone at FFA HQ could predict that late sunday nights would have poor attendances, just look at our final last year. 11k a fortnight before, on a friday night, then only 9k in only our second final, on a sunday night (3k down from the exact same final last year)
A-League crowds are a concern, even if the football is fine

Exactly, victory played the same “rough tackles” tactic they used in the gf, maybe this would of worked last year, but it seems WJ has introduced a harder steelier team, which probably was the aim with his appointment.
City were fortunate that the two victory “enforcers” Brox and Valeria got early yellow, stopping a lot of muscats game plan.
Good win for city, the two defensively minded midfielders deployed at the start worked, a proper blue collar win
City scrape past Victory in Melbourne derby
1-Ross McCormack to come and score a goal a game
2-Arzani to have a breakthrough season and score/assist 10
3-city undefeated in Melbourne
4-Tim Cahill to retire will a league trophy, (preferable scoring in the final)
5-victory to finish outside the 6
My unbiased, realistic and reasonable expectations for this season to benifit the a-league (imo)
Five new big wishes for the upcoming A-League season
city have been consistent though, since the transformation from Heart, they have always finished in the top half of the table, no other club has achieved this during this time.
Hopefully Chelo could be the replacement from Novillo, because city don’t lack pace, they lack some creativity. the creative spark that Novillo and Mooy brought was replaced by the speed of Fitz, Bruce & Brandan
Season 13: Unlucky for some, but not the A-League
alot of people who support AFL only are very narrow minded and very delusion about “how their code is the greatest in the world”
however the same can be said of football only supporters.
I personally don’t understand how people can only follow one sport, and even more so i don’t understand why they would bash another they don’t follow.
i wonder if they have this sort of stuff happening State side, with all this “Superior code” nonsense
What an expansion team looks like
i hate the “he should get a warning first excuse”
isnt that what the first yellow is about?
should make it 3 to a red in that case
