With or without big Will, the WBs are going to have to show a hell of a lot of ticker and discipline both sides of the ball, otherwise they’ll be dropping their 4th pool game in WC history.

UPDATE: Clearest sign that Wallabies captain Skelton is OUT of Fiji game, coach names back up skipper

Mistake free is something the WBs don’t do very well.. certainly not in recent memory anyway.
Big ask.

Not with the bookies… But a very tasty handicap isn’t it.

Exclusive: Tongan Thor in doubt for Wallabies' entire RWC pool stage after training mishap, surprise Slipper role

Huge challenge indeed. Might even be an understatement. If Oz aren’t at the top of their game this week, I can see Fiji rolling them over. It wouldn’t be that big an upset in any case. At +9 I reckon the Fijians are excellent value.

It is fair enough yeah, thanks for your understanding Kev.
Ahh ok… well he’d probably go better than the filmmaker.

Finals Fix: The Lions just cracked September after four years of trying - and everyone else should be terrified

Significantly easier to write than the Brisbane Lions yes.. but that’s not a consideration when referring to them.
No idea who Brian Taylor is. Probably a good thing by the sounds of it!

Finals Fix: The Lions just cracked September after four years of trying - and everyone else should be terrified

When the Brions kick with a degree of accuracy, that’s what they can do to any team. Consistency will be the key. Here’s hoping they crack the code.

It was a win. Against Georgia. And instead of getting better thru the course of the match, WBs got worse.
Definitely not worth getting carried away by that result. The main positive being it bucks the trend of losses and may instill a little confidence.

Remember us? The soft reminder the Wallabies remain a RWC threat - and the one selection headache for Fiji

Scrappy at best. But the right side of the ledger at least. Plenty of work to do.

Go and have a drink at Au Lèche-Vin. 13 Rue Daval. Good local spot with strong pours and interesting decor.

Allez, Allez! All Blacks suffer first RWC pool loss as France make huge statement, Fozzie remains upbeat

Bit early for a drink isn’t it Paul? Love yer optimism fella. Can’t see it myself but what the hell, worth a lazy tenner at good odds.

Allez, Allez! All Blacks suffer first RWC pool loss as France make huge statement, Fozzie remains upbeat

The French discipline in the second half was outstanding. Whether they can maintain that thru the knock out phases we’ll have to wait and see. But jeez they looked good.

Yeah exactly TB. They really just needed to get that one under the belt. In the end they did in pretty emphatic style. Will do them the world of good. Really nice blend of everything a premiership winning team needs to have.. as long as they stay healthy.

ANALYSIS: Broncos surge into prelim after heartbreaking Papi injury - but were the Panthers the big winners?

Regardless of who you support, if you’re a footy lover, you gotta feel for Paps. Devastating for the bloke. Hope he can mend well and succeed whatever happens in his future.

'We go again': Papenhuyzen responds after horrific injury as star goes under knife on fractured ankle

I think the Panthers would do well to concentrate on their own performance coming up.
That was a very solid performance from a very solid team. If anything, the panthers should be a little more worried than they were previously, because the Bronx have what it takes.

Such dross from Morgan. He’s a very large child who’s piersed off that nobody likes him in this world. He really wouldn’t know his rectum from a rice cracker.

Toads not at the races tonight, and the roaches too desperate to avoid the sweep.

Blues save Best till last as Bradman runs amok to deny Maroons series clean sweep, both coaches could head for exit

Blues will be desperate to avoid the sweep. But you’d reckon that Billy will have the Maroons up for this. The radical changes for blues might not be enough to overcome the pretty settled Toads.

Origin III teams: Final line-ups announced as new-look Blues desperately try to avoid Maroons whitewash

One thing’s for sure Flem, after this next test, Warner will be equal with Athers as the world’s biggest bunny. If as expected, the selectors stick with him for the Oval, he’ll be able to retire knowing that he stands alone atop the bunny list and can expect a call from Hugh Hefner for a photo shoot.

Flem’s Verdict: No momentum change after narrow loss but Warner on last chance and Aussies need Wood plan

Yeah a pretty brutal schedule from a cricketers perspective.
The break should do them all some good and hopefully result in a cracking 4th.

Ashes alive: Brook, Woakes, Wood the heroes as England clinch thrilling run chase despite superb Starc

Piers-off Morg-on. The prime twit of UK media. He’s universally despised for very good reason. No words uttered from his sloppy gob should ever be listened to or paid with any attention.

The Australian cricket team could learn a lot from Piers Morgan about ethics, integrity and humility

The pompa lompas just about deserved the win. Oz certainly didn’t… so you’d reckon it’s a fair result.
Oz too erratic with their bowling and lacking application with the bat. Apart from a few good individual performances, on both sides, it was largely a lacklustre performance from both teams… But so bloody intriguing to watch.
The ashes are alive, and it’s a good thing too, coz I’m greedy for more drama. Just not more heartache thanks. Bring on the 4th.

Not sure you’d call Smith set. Labs definitely.
But yes, both poor dismissals.

Unless Cummins and co can wreak havoc in the morning session, this one’s going the way of the pompous.
