It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Stoinis in the coming days, and who JL decides to throw into the mix because quite frankly, I don’t think anyone in that middle order has been convincing and worthy of a secured position. As you stated – Smith, Warner, Cummins, Starc and Carey are probably the only ones who have a locked in spot at the moment, meaning that six other spots are uncertain. When I look back at the last world cup in 2015, I don’t remember Australia having many headaches like this at all. The balance and depth of the side back then was second to none – I think Australia need to get their XI sorted out very soon before it’s too late in the tournament.
