Take the Reds for example, for a couple of years they had better crowds than the Broncs because they were exciting and…drum roll.. Winning! if a team is winning, people will watch. If a team is losing and dishing up bollocks every weekend..well take the Reds are a good example again.
I’m not sure a draft would fix player exodus due to horrible coaches though. If we have centrally contracted coaches where merit counted for something and not hired based on who’s mate is sitting on the board, that would go a long way too.

That was an incredibly stupid finish. Spend multiple phases setting up for a drop goal, getting all your players caught up in midfield and then at the last second don’t even attempt the drop goal but throw an abomination of a pass to well marked player with 0 support. Just mind blowing stuff.

The sad thing is I think RG actually believes the bollocks he spills to the media. The lack of cohesion is evident in the entire team and coaching staff for the past 2 years.

Reds had 58,738 members in 2014, the first year of RG when people were still optimistic after 3 years straight of finals footy. After 2 years of headless chooks and nearly everyone with finals experience gone the Reds are sitting on 25,179 members for 2016.
Honestly I don’t imagine that number improving much throughout the year. That is an absolute ballsload of lost money, It boggles my mind that the head honchos can turn a blind eye to that.
