The National Basketball League is the top tier of men’s basketball in Australia and New Zealand. The 2022 NBL Finals will run at the conclusion of the regular season.
The NBL Finals series takes on a relatively simple structure in which two three-match semi-finals series are played to determine who reaches the three-match grand final series.

Semi-Finals:
1 vs 4, 2 vs 3
The top team at the completion of the regular season plays the team that finished fourth in the first semi-final series, while the teams that finished second and third meet in the other.
Each of the semi-finals are a best-of-three games series, with the higher-ranked side receiving the advantage of playing an extra game (if required) at their home court.
Grand Final:
Winner 1 vs 4 versus Winner 2 vs 3
The NBL champion is crowned through a three-match grand final series featuring the two semi-final winners.
The highest-ranked team from the regular season that makes it to the grand final series is rewarded with the advantage of playing an additional match (if required) on their home court.
