Former heavyweight champion Lucas Browne takes aim at Paul Gallen
Former WBA heavyweight champion Lucas Browne has called out Paul Gallen and, to a lesser extent, Barry Hall, ahead of the Code War bout.
While he said he’d be happy to take on the winner of the fight, Browne says that if Gallen wants to prove himself in the sport he should go up against an “actual boxer”.
Though prior to the fight Gallen has an undefeated record after nine bouts, Browne has a record of 29-2 with 25 of his victories coming via knockouts.
Like Gallen, he recently defeated former Rugby League player John Hopoate.
