UFC Denver: Yair Rodriguez's epic buzzer-beating KO destroys the Korean Zombie
The main event of UFC Denver could not have had a bigger ending.
Yair Rodriguez produced a spectacular elbow finish to pip Chan Sung Jung right at the post and beat the buzzer.
Incredibly, the move came with less than a second left in the final round.
Prior to the finish, the 15th-ranked Rodriguez and and tenth-ranked Sung Jung had gone toe-to-toe, with the two fighters appearing to be relatively well-matched for one another.
The victory is the tenth of Rodriguez’s career.
“What we just saw was mind blowing,” UFC fighter Paul Felder, who had been covering the event for Fox Sports, said after the bout.
“We’re going to be seeing highlights of that elbow finish for the rest of UFC history.”
