Round 19 wraps up on the Gold Coast with the Canterbury Bulldogs locking horns with a Cronulla Sharks outfit desperate to retain their spot in the eight. Tune into the action here on The Roar with live scores from 4:05pm (AEST).

The eighth-placed Sharks are only a slender points-differential margin ahead of the Raiders in ninth, whom they lost to last week, heading into the round. Given the Raiders’ form, that could be swallowed up soon. For that reason, they are desperately after not just a win, but a big one over the lowly Dogs.

Losing prop Aiden Tolman to a suspension is inconvenient for stand-in coach Josh Hannay, but in better news, Royce Hunt has been named on the bench for his first minutes of the season. That’s about it as far as changes go from the side which went down to Canberra last week, though Toby Rudolf will move into the front row to cover for Tolman.

The Dogs went down swinging in a high-scoring loss to the Rabbitohs, which will have please Trent Barrett to a degree. Jeremy Marshall-King returns from his own suspension for the Bulldogs, which forces veteran Sione Katoa to the reserves.

Barrett has shuffled the magnets quite substantially this week, with Jack Hetherington shifting to prop, Luke Thompson to lock and captain Josh Jackson to the number 12.
