Round 8 of the NRL premiership continues on Sunday when the Wests Tigers take on the Manly Sea Eagles at Campbelltown Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores from 4.05pm (AEST).

Wests Tigers are still yet to strike a blow in the wins column this season and times are getting desperate at Concord.

Manly recorded their best win of the season last Friday night when they took down Melbourne at Brookvale.

Young Tigers fullback Jahream Bula will make his NRL debut with Charlie Staines heading to the wing and Asu Kepaoa into the centres with Brent Naden (collarbone) out.

Tommy Talau (facial injury) is back on the bench and is joined by Daine Laurie, who hasn’t played since Round 4.

With Adam Doueihi out with a torn ACL, Brandon Wakeham has been recalled at five-eighth.

Manly winger Raymond Tuaimalo-Vaega has been banned for two weeks after a shoulder charge against Melbourne but Reuben Garrick is back on the wing anyway after a concussion layoff.

Josh Schuster (thigh) regains the five-eighth jersey from Cooper Johns after three weeks nursing a thigh complaint while Kelma Tuilagi (concussion) has been replaced by Ethan Bullemor.

Prediction

There’s not a lot to be confident about for the Tigers in terms of when they will register their first triumph of 2023 and it doesn’t look like happening this weekend unless they can produce a massive boilover.

Anthony Seibold has fixed Manly’s recent defensive woes and if their backs can get some space at Campbelltown, a big score could be on the cards. Sea Eagles by 14
