Queensland are in the midst of major injury drama as the 2020 State of Origin series draws closer, with the likes of Kyle Feldt, Moses Mbye, Michael Morgan and Valentine Holmes all in doubt for at least Game 1 of the November series.
But the Maroons have a history of blurring the lines when it comes to player eligibility for Origin – and few know that better than Parramatta and NSW great Peter Sterling.
The retired legend had a tongue-in-cheek suggestion for Kevin Walters on Wide World of Sports’ “Sterlo’s Wrap” to deal with the crisis: let’s be honest, would anyone be surprised if the Maroons actually do just that?
