The final clash of the Super Rugby Pacific twelfth round sees the Hurricanes take on the Fijian Drua at Sky Stadium, Wellington. Join The Roar for live scores from 1:35pm AEST.

Although this might look like a walk in the park for the Hurricanes there are a few elements that might make this a tough afternoon for the Wellington side. Firstly they are missing their talismanic leader Ardie Savea who is having an enforced All Blacks rest and his absence can’t be underestimated.

Secondly the Canes have shown throughout the season that they are just too prone to terribly inconsistency, even within the same game, let alone week to week. Last week against the Brumbies they faded terribly and were torn to pieces as the game went on.

One positive note is that they will be able to add some impressive experience to their pack as All Blacks legend Owen Franks returns to action in New Zealand having played in the UK for a while.

The Drua will be bitterly disappointed after their loss at home to the Highlanders last week. They would have loved to have won their first game in Fiji and really should have but let it slip. With devastating attacking weapon Vinaya Habosi missing from the wing the Drua will need others to stand up and try and scare the Canes.

If the Drua can go after the Canes early then the home side have shown that they can lose composure and with Jordie Barrett also out the Drua could genuinely stand a chance in this final game of the weekend.
