After another exciting Shute Shield season, it now comes down to this. Defending champions the Warringah Rats would like to go back to back against the favourites Sydney University at North Sydney Oval on Saturday 1st November 2018 from 3pm.

After annihilating Manly in the semi-finals last week, Sydney Uni would be hoping to continue their impressive form one more time in 2018.
Sydney Uni has been the most successful team in the Shute Shield since its inception.
Having two Wallabies in starting hooker Tolu Latu and scrum-half Nick Phipps on the bench, University would favour their chances of getting their 40th premiership.
Loaded with ex-Super Rugby players, Sydney University are extremely strong across the park.
Warringah coach Darren Coleman believes they are favourites and has made it clear that the team have the belief and the experience from their 2017 win to beat any side.
Warringah pipped Sydney University 15-12 in their only meeting in Round 10 in 2018.
Coleman has made it clear that some of his team deserve to be professional rugby and has questioned the decision making of Australian rugby selectors.
The Rats have not lost a match since Round 17 and are in incredible finals rugby form.
A crowd of 15000 people are expected to be attending the final and let’s hope that the grand-final does not disappoint.
Prediction
Even though Sydney University are hot favourites, Warringah Rats will get successive Shute Shield titles in a tight affair.
