It’s first versus tenth in Gosford for the final game of Round 24, as the Central Coast Mariners host the Perth Glory. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 7pm (AEST).

Central Coast’s good start under new manager Alen Stajcic came to an abrupt end last week with a 1-0 loss against Adelaide United.

Perth will be looking to atone for the frustrating 2-0 loss to Melbourne Victory last week.

The goal remains for the Mariners to get off the bottom of the table – and after Brisbane’s loss to City on Friday, a win can take them within three points of achieving that.

Central Coast will be without Turkish midfielder Jem Karacan as he serves his one-match ban for picking up two yellows last week. One of Mario Shabow or Sam Graham will come into the squad to replace him.

Perth meanwhile will welcome back central defender Matthew Spiranovic from injury.

Prediction
Perth are going to be cross after last week. The Mariners are going to be the hapless punching bags that Perth can take their anger out on.

One would imagine that Andy Keogh comes back in to solve the wastefulness in front of goal that plagued them against Victory.
