The last of the finals positions can be sorted tonight – winner goes fifth, loser goes sixth as the Wellington Phoenix host Melbourne City at Westpac Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 5pm (AEST).

Last week saw Wellington fall 2-1, somewhat unexpectedly, away to Brisbane; compounding their lapse in form heading in towards finals.

City were held to 0-0 against Adelaide as both Paul Izzo and Eugene Galekovic in goal put in supreme performances.

Wellington name an unchanged squad from last week, with only right back Louis Fenton unavailable due to injury.

Melbourne City have named both Scott Jamieson and Bart Schenkeveld as returning from their respective injuries, but coach Warren Joyce has confirmed that Schenkeveld hasn’t traveled with the squad.

Prediction

Wellington’s form up front has been poor lately, and they are coming up against Galekovic who has had a very good season to date.

As well as that, City have been finding a way of grabbing points in games that matter.

Wellington 0 – 1 Melbourne City
