Aussie tennis doubles pair furious after woeful sportsmanship

Australian tennis players Arian Rodionova and Priscilla Hon were left stunned after an umpire failed to notice a ball had come off their opponent’s head and bounced in to win the point.

The controversial moment happened at a WTA tournament in Hungary.

In the third set tiebreak against Georgina Garcia Perez and Renata Voracova, Hon hit a backhand which hit Voracova’s racquet and then her head.

The umpire failed to spot it but Voracova also failed to acknowledge and concede the point which left the Aussie pair furious. Garcia Perez and Voracova went on to win the match 6-3 4-6 (10-3).
