It’s a tie! The Roar’s inaugural AFL MVP has had a dramatic finish, with three votes to Patrick Dangerfield in the final round of the season bringing him even with Dustin Martin on 30 votes atop the leaderboard.

Both players have had magnificent seasons and are very deserving tied winners of the award which has been voted on all season long by our live blogging team.

Rounding out the top ten are a slew of highly-rated midfielders with the most impressive being young gun Marcus Bontempelli coming in at fourth in just his third year in the AFL.

Also a big round of applause should go to Max Gawn for his excellent season seeing him finish in equal seventh, the only non-midfielder to crack the top ten.

The full top ten and all the votes from the past four rounds are listed below. Thanks to our live blogging team for their contributions all season long!
