Richmond will be hungry to avoid another tough loss against a big club as they host Hawthorn. We’ll have live scores from 1.45pm AEST.

The Tigers last week continued their trend of losing admirably against quality opposition, taking a last-quarter lead before falling to Essendon by 19 points.

Brett Deledio was comfortably the best Richmond player on the night, racking up 35 touches and the Yiooken Award for best afield.

A tough draw has meant these type of results have been the story of their season. They enter the round in 13th place with only three wins.

The Hawks, meanwhile, have hit momentum after winning three on the trot.

Last week they easily accounted for an ordinary Fremantle down in Launceston. Jarryd Roughead starred with four goals in the 56-point win.

The result returned them to the top eight and gave them a 5-3 record.

For Richmond, Ben Griffiths comes in for the injured Dylan Grimes, while Tyrone Vickery will replace Brad Miller in the forward line.

Jack Riewoldt is the club’s leading goal kicker this year with 17, while Deledio’s 28 touches a game makes him the leading ball winner.

Hawthorn did not make a change.

Buddy Franklin, with 20 goals, leads Cyril Rioli in the goal kicking count. Sam Mitchell is the leading ball winner.
