My series continues looking at the hypothetical line-ups from the AFL State of Origin. This week we look at Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Queensland, a state that has come a long way in the last few years joins up with a territory that produces a few top line players, Queensland and Northern Territory have a very competitive side this year.

Cyril Rioli, Steven Motlop and Matthew Stokes are all super talents from the Northern Territory, they are all small forwards that can break games open. Good luck to opposition sides in trying to shut them down.

As for up front, Queensland have provided a couple of power forwards to get the job done. Nick Reiwoldt and Kurt Tippett are the tall timber for this side and will be helped by the Northern Territory trio at scoring for this side.

From one origin to another. Karmichael Hunt continues to improve and has gone from State of Origin in rugby league to another (however unfortunately not a real one) in AFL.

The line-up
Coach: Michael Voss
FB: Jarrod Harbrow, Daniel Merrett, Lee Spurr
HB: Courtenay Dempsey, Rory Thompson, Karmicheal Hunt
C: David Armitage, Andrew Raines , Matthew Stokes
HF: Charlie Dixon, Nick Riewoldt (c), Steven Motlop
FF: Cyril Rioli, Kurt Tippett, Brendan Whitecross
Foll: David Hale, Dayne Beams, Dayne Zorko
INT: Zac Smith, Michael Osborne, Rohan Bail, Luke McGuane (sub)

The Verdict: this side could challenge the big there states and will certainly not be blown out of the water.
