Will this (finally) be NSW’s year?

After game one of State of Origin 2013 there has been a lot said about the game and what will happen in the remaining Origin matches of 2013.

The biggest question though, is about whether or not NSW will break their drought.

NSW has been beaten the last seven years and fans are desperate to feel success and will make themselves heard.

NSW outplayed Queensland for the most of the first match at ANZ on Wednesday, and looked to have controlled most of the game.

If this domination can be carried into the rest of Origin 2013 then NSW will win their first series since 2005. It is a massive ask, but I can just see this happening.

Queensland won’t just roll over though, so NSW will have to really want it if they are to walk away victors.

Queensland is filled with experience and are very comfortable playing together, and I’m sure Mal won’t let Queensland produce a performance like game one in the remaining games.

Only needing to win one of the remaining games to clinch a series victory NSW will like their chances, especially with one home match remaining.

I, as a Queensland supporter hope this dominance continues for a few more years, but this will be the Blues’ best chance to stop the Queensland winning streak.
