Are you a bias-free league fan who loves nothing more than a State of Origin decider?

Or are you a ravenous Blues supporter who simply wants the eight-year run to come to an end, then rub Queensland’s face in it?

Or perhaps you’re a Queensland fan who needs the injury-plagued boys in Maroon to square up the series so you’ve got another excuse to get down the Suncorp for Game 3?

Who do you want to win State of Origin Game 2, and why?

Here are our top five reasons we’re likely to hear in the lead-up.

Queensland need to win – It’s for the good of the game!
Many, many years ago, State of Origin was considered to be an endangered beast.

NSW had the best player in the world and possibly the greatest ever behind a dominant forward pack, feeding a pack of try-hungry backs.

Nowadays, the situation is reversed. NSW have come close, but Queensland have been too good for the last eight series.

With a host of player injured, Queensland have resumed the underdogs tag, and surely it’s in the interest of Origin football that they win and we move into a decider at Suncorp.

It’s for the good of the game! Won’t somebody think of the Game 3 ratings!

It’s do or die for NSW
With everything going their way, and all the lead-up being peachy, New South Wales need to strike while the iron is hot.

Queensland have cobbled together a team late, with plenty of injury concerns in the selected 17. NSW are the opposite.

They have a set, fit and firing 17 that have trained together all week in the lead-up.

If they can’t seal the deal this time, when will they win?

Queensland revel with the underdog tag
We’ve all seen it before. Write off those men in Maroon at your peril, because that’s when they perform at their best.

And in that spirit, who doesn’t like an underdog?

Injuries? Pah!

Lack of concerted training together? Fiddle sticks!

Everyone loves an underdog, and that dog is wearing Maroon tonight.

Rub it in those faces!
It’s time, Queensland.

Time we ended the eight years of heartache. Time we restored thing to the natural order. Time the most dominant Origin establishment of all time was upset. Time for Smith and his boys to be sent packing, humiliated, 2-0.

For Spaaaaarrrttt… I mean, New South Wales!
