Real Madrid is on fire. It is a great time to be alive, well at least for Los Blancos fans.

You could say 60 goals in 19 games (all competitions) is outstanding and you could say intense could not even describe El Clasico.

I would have to agree on both accounts.

However, if you said they are never going to stop, I would have to think about it first. But I’d still agree, because I am a huge fan.

The point is Real Madrid have been insanely superior to all others since the two losses early in the season. This excellence may be fleeting but here is why I think it is going to stick around.

Before Gareth Bale was injured, he was in a bit of a rut, but now he is back and as soon as he stepped on the pitch you saw the attacking presence grow. With him back in form, he will compliment Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo perfectly just like before.

Toni Kroos had truly stepped up as the new Xabi Alonso, and boy is he looking comfortable. With an average pass accuracy of 94.2 per cent, he truly is a consistent rock in the midfield. Contrary to critics after his transfer in the summer, he usually puts in a great effort defensively.

Sergio Ramos has been without a doubt a fearless wall in the defence. Having a great game in El Clasico, he continues his duties without much error. James Rodriguez, while some may say he has not truly fit in yet, has proven himself a valuable player in the attack and always tracks back to help defend.

Obviously Ronaldo has been a nothing short of a superstar, tallying up the goals quite quickly and his assist stats have grown as well. At this point, it seems like nothing and no one can stop him.

While I have only mentioned a few players you cannot forget the fresh young Isco, brilliant Marcelo, creative Dani Carvajal or feisty Pepe.

It truly has been a team effort up to this point, and I believe they can continue this strength.

Nonetheless, it is still early and much can change, although I would say all should fear this breathtaking machine.
