South Sydney has revealed that its axed captain John Sutton and former player Luke Burgess were involved in an incident in a pre-season camp in the US that led to charges.
Souths say there was an incident of “disorderly behaviour” involving the pair, and it’s understood the two were involved in a bar fight at the camp three months ago.
While charges were initially laid, they were later withdrawn.
The Rabbitohs say they informed the NRL integrity unit of the incident.
