Bangladesh looked certain to defeat India at the ICC World Twenty 20, but proceeded to lose three wickets in three balls in the final over to fall agonisingly short.
Bangladesh needed just two runs with three balls remaining and four wickets in the shed when Mushfiqur Rahim holed out in the deep. Mahmudullah then couldn’t keep the ball on the ground and was caught first ball.
The sensational collapse was complete when Mustafizur Rahman was run out trying to steal a single and at least tie the match.
The one-run win by India means they’re now second on the table in group two.
