Taniel Tupou, better known as the Tongan Thor, continued to impress when he played his second Super Rugby game for the Queensland Reds last night, laying a crushing tackle on Dominic Bird of the Chiefs.

The heavy collision left Bird wiping blood away from his face (but still alive!).

Unfortunately, Tupou’s efforts did nothing to rouse the rest of the Reds from what was a poor performance overall, in which they went down 5-50 to the Chiefs.
