Manchester will be painted red or blue this weekend, as two legendary managers in Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola face of against each other.

The last Manchester Derby ended in a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford, in front of a packed-out crowd of 75,329.

Both teams were active in the pre-season transfer window.

The Red Devils secured the return of Paul Pogba from Juventus, after a world-record transfer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also made his way to Manchester United, along with 2014-15 Bundesliga Player of the Season Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

City have signed John Stones from Everton, Claudio Bravo from Barcelona for the Etihad, and Dortmund weapon Ilkay Gundogan.

One major factor to take into consideration this weekend is that Sergio Aguero will not be playing, suspended after a nasty elbow on Winston Reid of West Ham. However the Citizens aren’t short of players who can defeat David De Gea.

On the other side, Mkhitaryan is carrying a small niggle. Again, United are not short of quality players if he misses out.

Players to watch
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a great and cocky footballer who scores goals.

Kevin De Bruyne is consistent, skilful and unpredictable.

Paul Pogba has loads of momentum behind him, is strong, and has great vision.

Raheem Sterling has pace to burn and can finish.

David De Gea is in the Premier League’s best form, with only one goal conceded this season so far.
