Perth Glory and Brisbane Roar meet in what looms as the pivotal match in deciding the final make up of the top six. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 10pm (AEDT).

The Glory are running hot with thirteen points from their last eighteen and come into this game with enormous confidence, a home ground advantage and an inconsistent opponent.

Last weeks’ impressive win against second-place Newcastle set them up with one last shot at cracking the top six and a win against Brisbane will move them into that spot temporarily.

Holding onto that position late Sunday will sadly not be within their control, with the Wanderers having the last say, requiring a win against Adelaide.

Brisbane face a similar scenario with a win away from home putting them in the box seat and mounting pressure on Western Sydney, who would then need all three points.

A draw in this match throws up an entirely different scenario, one which we might hold off discussing until it comes to fruition.

Brisbane were poor last week against the Wanderers and based on that effort, will find the Glory a tough ask at home.

Prediction
Home ground advantage may play a key role in this one and the Glory should have the momentum to get the win they so desperately require.
