The Wallabies will be looking to keep their Bledisloe Cup hopes alive when they travel to New Zealand to take on the All Blacks. This is The Roar’s guide to all the key information you need to know for the game.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:35pm (AEST) on Saturday, August 25 at Eden Park, New Zealand.
It’s fair to say that even Wallabies tragics aren’t expecting all too much out of Saturday afternoon’s clash, especially when taking into account the fact the Australians haven’t won in New Zealand since 2001.
The Wallabies started last week’s opening game with the All Blacks in promising fashion, holding strong in defence and taking a 6-5 lead into the break.
However, they just simply collapsed in the second half, conceding 33 points on the way to a 38-13 defeat. The loss came at a cost too, with fullback Israel Folau suffering an ankle injury that has ruled him out of Saturday’s game.
Versatile playmaker Kurtley Beale is one of the names that has been thrown around to replace the 29-year-old in the number one jersey.
The All Blacks will be without Ryan Crotty (concussion) and Rieko Ioane (hamstring).
Both free-to-air and pay TV subscribers will be able to tune into Saturday afternoon’s contest.
Foxtel customers can catch the pre-game show at 5pm (AEST) on Channel 501, while coverage will finish at around 8pm after a post-game wrap.
Meanwhile, free-to-air viewers can also view the match on Channel Ten. Their broadcast will also start at 5pm with pre-game analysis before wrapping up at 7:30pm.
You can catch the broadcast in high definition on channels 13 and 210 for both free-to-air audiences and Foxtel customers respectively.
Alternatively, it will be available in standard definition on channels 10 and 110.
Watching the game online is just as easy.
Foxtel subscribers can stream the match through the Foxtel App. It is free to download and use if you have an account, including a valid email.
If you are not a Foxtel customer, you have two options.
The first is through Foxtel Now. It is a streaming-only option, with subscription packages available for purchase.
Otherwise, the Tenplay website has you covered, offering you the chance to stream the game for free.
